Kanno isn't doing the BGM.

Yep, it's RahXephon all over again.

Maaya Sakomoto OP composed by Yoko Kanno with the score composed by Ichiko Hashimoto. Hemisphere is probably my fav Maaya and Kanno team up... hopefully this is half as good...

Well, I read it in the first post. Yesteday It said Kanno there.

Anyways, I guess I would like this composer too. Rahxephon sounded good to me.

No it didn't. I think you just misread the theme song credits.

Kanno is composing the OP song only. Ichiko Hashimoto is, however, the music composer for this, i.e. BGM. Rahxephon fans can attest to that she is very good at what she does. Here is a youtube sample of the ED song for Rahxephon composed and voiced by Ichiko Hashimoto.

I'm not much of a Code Geass fan but I'll watch this OVA for the gathering of these ridiculously talented people.

Ah, that must be. My bad. I guess I flipped over those credits, I'm sorry.

I'll be glad to give you the opposite: No, and whoever came up with that date is merely dreaming.

She's not Japanese, and there's no official English spelling for her name. Please don't correct me on such a silly matter. :P

There is no such a name. It is Layla. Unless Rurushu is okay for you.

Well I don't know for a fact that it's Layla, but I'm definitely not going to use a totally Japanese romanization because it just sounds silly. Could be some other variation or whatever, but it's not really something I think is worthwhile arguing over until the show is like... you know... coming out at least.

True. I just wanted to point out that using transliteration for a name is... strange, to say the least.

I can't believe Bandai still hasn't put a legit version of the trailer up on the official site. Are they seriously just going to keep waiting so they can make the trailers in the two DVD box sets more "attractive"? Lol. :/

Any objections?

I'm sure that's all they're doing...but considering the first of those box sets will be out in less than a week, that's not too bad.

That's certainly better than nothing, but I'd still say the only "official" English spelling is whatever ends up being used for an actual English language release, stream or screening. Even with Bandai Entertainment gone, I do expect someone else will license this sooner or later. They could easily change the current "Reira" into something else by then. Not that I honestly care about her name as long as she's a good character though.
