Okay, it looks like kazakiri is still ongoing to russia.

Spoiler for summary vol 20:

Russia, being manipulated by Fianmma, declares war against academy city saying that their technology will lead the world to destruction. Either share what they've been studying or face consequences, and begin their attack.
Academy city in response says that they can't sit idly when they have the power to stop the world from going into war, and start invading Russia (lol).
Japanese government don't want Academy city to retaliate, but shuts up after Academy city shows them a clip of them shooting Russian missiles down, saying "we don't need to protect you, you know?"

Touma goes to Russia not to stop war but rather to save Index by destroying the index remote control carried by Fianmma.

Lessa is trying to seduce Touma to the best of her abilities.

The two goes and meet leader of country of Elizalina, which recently became independent from Russia. When they do, Fianmma strikes. Vent comes in as well as Sasha, but she is taken by Fianmma after the battle. Capturing Sasha was his real objective.

Accel is on the run from academy, and is attacked by Misaka Worst. He's hesitant to take her down in fear of killing her, because she reminds too much of LO. When MW threatens to kill LO (seeing how she's not doing much to Accel), he snaps, turns her into pile of meat. He goes psycho after this. This was Acdemy city's plan all along, to drive Accel into madness. Accel tries to rebuild MW(?), he somehow succeeds, and finds Touma passing by and what tsunade said follows.

Touma left him a note after the fight telling Accel to go and find Index probably because he shattered a spell or whatever which was cast on LO.

Pope is back on his feet.

Mugino is also going to Russia to see Hamazura. lovely.

Kazagiri heads to Russia via angel mode after having a conversation with Klause (sp?).

Index goes berserk again, and Stail is trying to stop her.

and Vent is a she.

That... summary of vol20 has some conflicting information.

Spoiler for vol20 correction:

IIRC, Accelerator was reluctant to attack Misaka Worst because she's a Misaka clone, and he promised not to let any of the clones die. When he tries to rewrite MW's brain, he fails because she kills herself. Then Accel goes crazy over it because he failed to protect a Misaka clone.

The nature of misaka's ability is electricity and is within bounds by nature and physics.

The only one who could awaken are those who are not bound by the rules of nature and physics. Even if Accel and Kakine are espers their powers are replicate or rather has divine nature on them. Able them to create something from nothing and bend the rules of nature
on their own will.

Misaka : Why would someone want to become angel when s/he can become God?

Aleister : Sorry..I can feel your frustration for being outcast but your lightning attack isn't qualify enough to join any angel ranks.

Misaka : Then I will become my own ZEUS version !!

...... Your right about your point but that's a good question I can't answer because...... even in
toaruverse the archangels power are based on the basic elements like wind,fire,water,earth and void or electricity.....

Better let someone answer it.

But from my personal answer. Maybe because Accel and Kakine can bend the laws of nature on their own will and as for misaka... well her electricity are production of her personal reality or her AIM. As for Kakine and Accel their powers can't really produce from nothing if you compare it on the other level 5 like mugino and mikoto. Those rank 1 and 2 powers allow them to take control of nature and everything around them and they didn't produce it. They either alter it's basic form to create a new (that's kakine) or control it by will (Accel).

It's called level 6, or [SYSTEM]. Though i'm pretty sure you have to transcend nature to reach the will of heaven.

Probably doesn't mean much, but I want to mention that Lightning has significance in various culture and their gods. The main one that comes to mind is of course, Zeus, but there also exists Thor, Perun, ect. I suppose the thing is that in ancient times, people could semi-control other elements like fire, water, earth, and wind (burn a few sticks and you make fire! dig a bit to divert the river for water! dig and make pottery from earth! use your fans to create wind! or something like that). However lightning to them was uncontrollable and unpredictable, akin to divine wrath. On top of that, it fell from the sky, which might make them believe it was the weapon of their particular sky god, which also happens to be the chief deity in many cultures.

I'm just gonna play the huge skeptic here and ask, are we sure it doesn't stick to her body due to the friction?

Also, did she mention that plastic sticks too at the beginning there? That's just a load of bull right there, the only magnetic elements in real life are iron, cobalt and nickel (and according to Wikipedia, gadolinium also, but I've never learned that one in school).

Sorry if this crushes anyone's hopes or dreams, but electromagnetism just doesn't work that way.

I search for To aru doujin about Mikoto have Golden Fox Tail and Ear while the Sisters have chicken feature and Kuroko become a Bunny eared Girl. Mikoto take Index as strangely shaped cat pet. Is the translation stuck in chapter 2 and 5 or I missed the other release?
