I'm looking for something...

...like Spice and wolf. I really enjoyed the dialogue (particularly Horo's flirting) between the two characters, the calm, mysterious and serene atmosphere and the interesting setting. Could you recommmend any animes that are similar?

Thanks.

Maybe you could try Kino no Tabi (aka.Kino's Journey). Also, if you don't mind a sad story, you can try Casshern Sins. Both of them are calm, mysterious and have serene atmosphere and interesting settings.

I recommend Gosick and Ikoku Meiro no Croisee for more western historical settings. They're not as good as Spice & Wolf though.

Katanagatari maybe more to your liking. It's also an adventure with some great dialogue between the couple.

Natsume Yuujincho, Haibane Renmei and Mushishi all have that peaceful atmosphere and great interaction.

I second Natsume Yuujincho and Mushishi.

Aria, not mysterious but really peaceful and calmly.

Yup, Aria has that serene atmosphere going for it. I also recommend it as well.

Real Drive (RD Sennō Chōsashitsu) is another one you might want to check out.

For a similar sort of romantic comedy banter between the two leads, Bakemonogatari comes to mind (although it's not really in a calm, peaceful setting)
