Question

It's a little early to judge, but the quasi-plug suits make the girls look a little obscene... Not in a good way, but more like a pedo way...

Whassaaaap widdat?

i read about this production in the July issue of Newtype looks intresting plus i liked the last 2 series they released. Chicks and Mechs can never get enough that. Really excited about Ayako Kawasumi voicing in this. i would say my favorite charcters that she has voiced are

Aoi-Ai Yori Aoshi
Lefiel- Banner of the Stars
Saber-Fate/Stay Night
Fuu-Samurai Champloo
Henrietta- Zero No Tsukamia
Chikane-Kannzuki No Miko

Plus i think shes a cutie

SKy Girls

The first OVA aired Aug 25 just finished watching the Raw the Exoskelton Suit designs were much better than i thought they would be. Animation is not shabby either. Looks like there 2 forms the suits they wear the first is almost like a glider form flown in while laying down. The second is the humanoid form. Over all not bad looks like a fun series with some action. I love the opening song and sequence the OP song kicks ass Its called
"Baby Tears" by Riyu Kosaka

Spoiler for Screen Shots:

Exo suits, huh? i think that will lose alot of the appeal of the designs. but it is a more realistic approach.

I've just finished watching this loli centurio... i mean Sky Girls.
Well, the strongest point of this anime isn't the story. What i've liked the most in this 28 minutes it's the finest quality fanservice. Using exoskeletons instead of mechas was a great idea on Konami's side. There's no cockpit and no helmet to hide the girls' good looking bodies.

I watched the trailer. Frankly, I felt no sense that the story has anything particularly interesting story-wise or character-wise. By-the-numbers fan-service. Maybe there's more to it than that, but I haven't seen anything yet that'd persuade me to spend the time downloading and watching it...

Well, I watched the first episode (will there be more? No idea...), I didn't understand much but I think that I didn't need to, I mean, I agree with paTKany, this was a loli fanservice from beginning to end. Animation overall was quite nice and opening was catchy, not to mention the opening animation.

Guilty pleasure anime at its best, or worst, depending your opinion.

I just watched the first episode...
Aside from the extreme fanservice and loli factor, is there a chance that this might be fansubbed? XD

I actually find the story interesting and entertaining. The mechs are quite a sight to behold (among other things...). Hopefully there will be a second episode to watch, so I could learn more about the story.

Extreme fanservice and loli? And you have to ask if someone is going to fansub it? Sounds like you'll have to beat off the fansubbers with a stick.

* NoSanninWa sighs.
