There is a new subtitling program that use the .ssa and the new .ass format for subtitles.....

Even if the author is italian the program is completely in English and have awesome features like the Karaoke Mode (SSA styles) and the audio timing utilities ( with .wav importing and graphical preview)

I'm using it instead of SSA and I'm sure that soon it'll be the new standard.....

For timing, i still use SSA.
TS , i use medusa.

actually it's not new...
it's been around for at least over a year now...

I like doing karaoke with it, cause it's karaoke mode is superb compared to SSA's...
