Main MC is 16 years old, the field incident happened 6 years ago.
In Chapter 2 we learn, that he met Satsuki 6 years ago for the first time as well. So the actual time spent together is not even 1 full year out of 16.
I think it's only the childhood friend trope if they stayed a major part of the childhood together if not the whole time up to the current story. Your opinions?

As for new girl... she could be Shizuma's daughter right? It would explain why she looked familiar, yet is new, she has a source to know his name as well. The hair is my main point of resemblance between the two. For those who don't remember, she is the woman who comes to their house to get the work from his aunt.

Well it could be that the new girl is a friend from after Nao's family moved away to another town. In one chapter Nao mentions that he and Suzu often moved from place to place.
