Mihawk and Riku are correct, the Jolly Roger is the symbolic pirate flag, not the name of Shank's ship. Any pirate can say "I answered the call of the Jolly Roger". They're saying they're answering to the call of being a pirate.

episode 271 is chapter 385 in the manga.

I also have Soccer King special, Basebal King Special, are they tv specials or no? i dont know when to watch those. Well, they never said they AREN'T real blood brothers. But I guess it is possible that they don't really know, or that they're half brothers. They said they're brothers, so until something says otherwise, you have to believe it.

Early manga question:
When Yosaku or whatever - one of the two pirate hunters (They call Zoro "Aniki) was introducing Arlong, he talks about one of the Shichibukai - Jinbei, the mermaid man. Apparently he mentions in the manga that Arlong is as strong as Jinbei. Can somone confirm if that's true of if it's a translation mistake? Because that would mean that Luffy is already as stronger/stronger than another one of the shichibukai.

I remember a more accurate translation where Yosaku said that Arlong was nearly as strong as Jinbei. In fact, I'll quote it:

the reason devil fruits are called such, is cuz the fruits contain a demon... the rubber demon... fire demon... w/e... and when u eat a fruit, that demon lives inside your body and u can use its powers. if you eat a second fruit tho, the two demons start fighting in your body and u ker-plode....

Um, that's not actually TRUE, silly, that's just the superstition that surrounds it. XD Jyabura's belief in the superstition was quickly corrected by the other CP9 members.

Being Shichibukai isn't a matter of strength anyway, just a contract with the government.
