^^ The WN ran out of usable material. The few last arcs were quite meaningless and it was plain to see the author got himself into a corner with no reasonable way to progress. So I guess ending it there was a good idea. Can't say whether he is gonna handle it better in the LN and somehow manage to continue.

But come on, that hair-pin! I mean Karla had a 5-branched hair-pin, while haruka's are only 4, but if you just look through the illustrations (don't seem accessable anymore for some reason) without checking every detail and escpacially before reaching the scene of Erwin getting NTR-ed, you'd normally assume it's the same person. Why though that hair-pin? Is it some cultural thing or are the two somehow related?

I am not sure, since I don't have Karla's moonrunes at hand to compare them, but isn't her name written like this:

カ(ー)ルラ (ka(a)-ru-ra) as opposed to ハルカ (ha-ru-ka)? - not sure about the accent.

And two-thirds of the name even indicate that the spelling is the other name, but backwards. It's a bit spooky, as if they were doppelgänger or secretly twins with opposing philosophies or something like that. Maybe it's also just symbolic for which direction Erwin's luck flows...

I've been meaning to ask this ever since the translations had reached that part. Shouldn't the readers (assuming they're able to understand what they're reading in Japanese) had some suspicions that something was up with this girl before the reveal, especially since Wend and the girls keep bringing it up (and it felt like Erwin was really pushing his luck for some reason...)?

^People were suspicious, but they just thought it was the birth of interesting scheming heroine for Wend. But then she was pushed to Erwin and people began to lose interest. Then came the "NTR", people didn't really care anymore. In narou people just offered condolences for Erwin. Doesn't matter either way, girls who got distributed to Erwin rarely appeared anymore and are basically dead as a character. Rhea became normal maid, Haruka is basically a carbon copy of Karla's appearance and no personality. Random osananajimi who cares.
