It would make Iami look bad if he's piloting a Knightmare-ish mech that can barely match up to an IS. Hence why he has the Minerva instead, somewhat smaller than an IS and yet it has the firepower to annihilate one at the cost of weaker defense.

Inami broke out of the classroom window and called out to the cloaked Minerva directly below him.

“Minerva! Disengage active camo!”

The Minerva de-cloaked as Inami fell onto the flowerbed behind it. He rolled forward upon landing to minimizie the impact force on his body then quickly hopped into the Minerva.

'I did it!'

As the armor folded around him he snickered at his seemingly successful escape plan.

“Hah! Didn’t see that one coming, did ya?” he called out to the girls overlooking from the broken windows above.

Just then, he heard a loud humming from behind him. Turning back, he saw a couple of Uchigane IS units hovering before him, the pilots grinned as they drew out their katanas.

“Okay…maybe you did” he mumbled, slightly surprised by the girls’ persistence to capture him.

“Surrender Inami-kun! I want you as our personal maid tomorrow!”

The girls discloses their intentions which sent chills down Inami’s spine. Acknowledging their persistence, he knows deep down that no amount of talk will stop them.


"Not even Tsurugi have gone this far, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have an IS ye-"


The PA system suddenly turned on.

“Inami-kun!”

“...I guess I was wrong”

“Inami-kun! I wanna see you dressed in traditional Chinese female costume… please?” His childhood friends voice blared from the intercoms.

Mildly vexed at the odds stacked against him, he activated the energy armblades on the Minerva’s forearms before looking up at the Uchigane pilots with a seemingly sincere smile.

“First one who grounds me gets a free massage…”

Somehow hearing his words, Tsurugi exclaimed through the system.

“You heard him girls, he’s a professional masseur~!”

“Mine!!” exclaimed one of the female pilots.

The trio immediately engaged in melee combat, the Uchiganes simultaneously swung their katanas at him

*CLANG*

The katanas were simultaneously blocked by Inami before the combat continued.

“Action behind Block D!!” The intercom suddenly blared.

Within moments, hordes of girls gathered around the trio as they continued their battle.

"Get him!"

"Hit him from both sides!"

"Chinese dress!"

Inami effortlessly continued to parry the attacks until one of the Uchiganes engaged him in a blade lock while the other pulls back and fired a grapple hook, which caught one of his arms.

'Shit!'

"Got him!" The pilot yelled as she pulled his arm away from the blade lock. He attempted to cut the line with his other armblade only for it caught by the other Uchigane’s grapple hook.


"Not…done…yet!" He exclaimed with effort.

Pulling his right arm to the left, the burst of strength from the Minerva’s hydraulic augmentation pulled the Uchiganes and sent them crashing into one another and momentarily knocked out the pilots.

“That was quick.” He smiled, disengaging the Minerva’s armblades.

"INAMI-KUN!" He heard Tsurugi's voice exlaim behind him.

"Tsurugi-ch-"

Inami immediately recognized the voice and quickly turned around only to see Tsurugi swinging a kendo stick at him.

*PAAAAANG*

The surprisingly sturdy kendo stick struck the Minerva’s helmet instantly grounded Inami with its immense impact force.

"AAUUUUGH!"

Tsurugi then stepped on the grounded Minerva’s chestplate, pointing her kendo stick at his face.

"Didn’t see that one coming, did ya?" she exclaimed, grinning at her success as the Uchigane IS pilots woke up from their temporary knockout.

"Aww~ Tsurugi-san got it."

"We lost~"

They sighed in disappointment upon seeing Tsurugi, knowing that she won the free massage reward.

Inami then lifted his arm, admitting his loss.

"Free massages….for the three of you.." He uttered in a defeated tone. The IS pilots beam at his generosity, promptly heading towards him to help him up.


“You’re always so kind, Inami-kun.” Tsurugi remarked as she helps the IS pilots get Inami back on his feet.

"Yeah, yeah."

He then spotted Lingyin walking towards them with an inauspicious smile.

"Bring him to the dressing room girls! I got just the right size for him." She said before giggling with Malicious intent.

Status report:

Inami Arisawa- Captured.

Looks fine to me

Poor Inami getting decked by his own childhood friend.

Also, Inami only faced off against TWO Uchiganes. Tsurugi didn't have an IS during that point of time, she just ran up to him, jumps as she whips out her bamboo sword and slams it dead center into the Minerva's helmet.

As I said, it looks fine. Though Inami barely uses "shit" when he's in trouble. Either he goes "Tch!" or something similar.

As for the Aftermath...

God knows what Lingyin has in store for him. Then again, there'll be massages since he promised the Uchigane pilots and Tsurugi a free massage for bringing him down.

As for the day after. According to 'official' rules of the event, Tsurugi gets Inami to go on a date with her.

To answer some points.

The list I made earlier are the OC's that appeared or will appear to fight or otherwise impede the males.

Maximillian: The five listed OC's are his squad which is forcing him to crossdress.

Inami: The names of the three girls who tried to stop him in the classroom.

Irish: Katsuragi Keiko is the girl he fought in the engine room, while Karon is the one he fights afterwards along with Tatenashi.

Ichika: Ange Stark is a genius girl who seems to love helping people only to see them fail, Ichika will likely ask for her help against his harem

BTW- His harem isn't interested in dressing him up. They're interested in the "winner can make the loser do whatever they want" clause

Kyuukai: Paparazzi girl from Canada is interested in the greatest stories so she naturally goes after Kyuukai who's a celebrity.

So far Inami and Octans are detained. Maximillian was captured but Irish busted him out at least temporarily so he's safe for now.

Side note- How good in massaging is he anyway?

The males are doomed to lose from the get go, the entire schools chasing them and they're outnumbered 100 to 1, they're just trying to make sure they don't go without a fight

How would Koji help them escape though? The girls are already chasing and beating a Former terrorist, a special forces operative, power armor users an engineer who can run REALLY fast and even their own teacher. If those traits don't help them then I don't know what would.

I want to add him in but I can't at this point Around half the males have already lost so suddenly putting in a new character would throw everything out of the loop and force me to rewrite everything so far. I wish you told me earlier about your OC.

EDIT: Stealth mode wouldn't work, the IS sensor would see right through it. Irish can get away with the smoke screen because he did a temporary jamming of her sensor with some chaff grenades, even then it would last only 30-60 seconds at most.

I really can't include him at this point. I'd have to rewrite every chapter so he can fit then re-write some scenes to include him. All these POV's take place at nearly the same time so if I re-write him in then he'd arrive after the entire mess is over.

Also, I so want a Karon, Riz, Tio VS Jet Scranback showdown, though it'll probably go down badly like the Marvel VS DC crossovers.

Tabane herself seems perfectly harmless but the fact that she launched 1200 missiles at a POPULATED city makes her cross over the moral event horizon.

Does Browning not like Max or something? You said that she trolls him a lot.

I'd prefer MaxBrown to be kept at a shiptease level. She'd troll him, and might even get into a few incidents, but nothing concrete. I want to keep his triangle of wrong relations level during this early part of the story.

I was hoping for Karon to end up with Irish Just kidding Crossover ships really wouldn't work and Irish would be out of place in your story

On the contrary he does. Once I finish redesigning Keiko you'll see why. Though the Irish in my story might be a bit more powerful because of my biase for underdogs and other established fanon technologies.
