I think the other two IFOs will be in action again since they've brought them along, Fleur was curled up in hers during the launch of the Triton for obvious reasons and Elena's was also onboard since it was the red cockpit the mechanic forced open when they learned she wasn't onboard. Also both of these are unique and have third engines (compac drive related?) that have been shown to react to emotions putting them closer to LFOs, I actually wouldn't be all that shocked if we learn they were reverse engineered from TheEND in the basement rather than 2-step removed Nirvash reverse engineering since they didn't have direct access to the Nirvash until Ao inherited it if they've seemingly had TheEND (and I agree I seriously doubt it was destroyed in just a Trapar swell like that, it sure didn't look like it went into pieces, to me it looked like it was just thrown got busted out of the ground by Trapar wave) all this time.

Hmm. Under normal circumstances I would not be surprised by Elena rendezvousing with who she's been spying for as we knew eventually she might go since we knew she was spying, however I'm temporarily (I'm sure it's expected until next ep) a tad bit confused on why she followed through on it now, except for the fact that it likely had to do with how Ao was pretty steadfast in his desire not to use the Quartz Gun like she's hoping he will, especially with what's going down being so personal, what with Fleur's dad actually dying and Elena's team in trouble, especially considering that two episodes ago it felt like she was just as desperate as anyone to get Ao to come back to Gen Bleu with her and Fleur so for the moment I'm a bit confused why she'd leave Ao and Fleur at such a vulnerable time considering I was getting the feeling that they were genuinely growing on her unless she's trying to get them more allies by getting Tanaka, even he asked her what happened and if she ran away.

Man I love Ivica's character.

And the way he read the situation after they launched and the way he was going to wait for Ao but gave him his trust when he said they should go on ahead, and the way he pulled Rebecka back onto the team from her despair.

Yeah I'm also curious if Elena was wearing the mask for double purpose. She likes to do that, most of the time her behaviors like that are both nods and thought out actions. That's a good point how one of the IFO guys was starting to be effected and starting to see Trapar.

Thanks as always ReddyRedWolf, seems like the material nature of compac drives is a possible use for quartz, something like quartz is or is related to what the green part of those drives were made of.

Elena wearing the mask might just be because she's from the original series universe and knows about the health risks of concentrated trappar exposure.

The compac drive most likely is related to the third engine rather than quartz.

I was quite disappointed by the lack of any reference to the Vodarac in this series. I personally thought it would be cool to have some kind of a religion-driven interest in the plot.

Yeah, you know now that I think about it a Vodarac-ish viewpoint could actually have been put in and fit in appropriately quite easily too given all the different interests portrayed about views on who the true enemy is, I guess it is actually a bit surprising we never got a view like theirs from a new faction that felt this way with a bit of a religious take on these aliens (I suppose the closest would have been Naru had we gotten a lot more screentime developing her progression to then giving out the message that the Scub Coral isn't humanity's enemy?).

Oh, I was thinking about this when I was re-watching some of the older episodes...but Naru's "sickness"/powers....does anyone else think that it is very similar to having a compaq drive embedded in your body, like Norb? That would explain her powers and her ability to communicate with the scub. I have no idea if it's relevant or not, but, I find it interesting.

It was in a dream sequencce Ao had in eposode 16 Operation Polaris. I have no idea if she was trying to communicate with him or it was all a dream, but she was basically telling him to protect the scubs. When she pulls down her collar, we see a green light comming from her stomach. We could assume it is a compac drive, but I'm not sure.

Sometimes it feels a little frustrating being behind by just one episode, because there's lots to discuss while the discussion with the current episode is still fresh.

Anyways, the nineteenth episode is what I call, "Children to stand up in order to correct their parents' mistakes".

The game of politics will always be shrewd and ugly. There's just too many factions splitted amongst themselves vying either for political peace or to be the first ones ahead from others at attaining a superior strength or power.

Generation Bleu is not different given what have been their true purposes concerning their involvement with the Quartz.

I'm wondering if what Rebecka is doing stems from her volition to protect the children and her comrades, or her volition to what's best to save any face left for Generation Bleu?

Ivica cannot be blameless either due to his experiences in his war-torn country and behaving lenient at being okay with children piloting IFOs and endangering themselves with missions against the Secrets for most part for political purposes.

However, we all can hope that Ao, Fleur, and the rest will be able to pull themselves out of the hell hole now that the rest of the world started their war against Generation Bleu.

Things for the answers are taking shape now that my suspicions about Truth have been corroborated; he's a Secret, a Secret that lost his memories.

And, when he's about to break he now confides in Naru and found out the roles have switched with Naru this time being the one wanting to guide him.

And, what about Elena?
She's definitely a child from Eureka's (Ao's mother) world, and there's a lot of theories running around concerning her real identity or that of her parents.

Loved this episode, I think you nailed a bunch of my thoughts coming out of it on a bunch of those characters.

Yeah, Ivica's actually one of my favorites. Sure he's been unable to remain blameless and yeah he's still reluctantly going along with the necessity of having kids in combat, but I really like him and how he's tried to straddle that line as best as probably humanly possible to try to still be good with a conscience and giving as much support for his crew as possible and trying to do his best to enable Ao, Fleur and Elena to do what they feel is best and not just give orders (like in some of the missions it was their desire to go out and save lives even if Ivica wouldn't have risked sending them out or when Ivica totally sympathetically was going to let Ao sleep out that mission recognizing that he understandably hasn't slept in days with how he joined Gen Bleu). At first it felt like with all of Gen Bleu it could be possible that there could be ulterior motives but so far it really feels genuine.
