Couldn't Komoe-sensei do the the same thing if given the chance then? since she has no involvement in esper powers and she hasn't learned much about magic. If this is true, then what made index unique could easily be replicated to someone else. Unless Plot Twist Index was a unique gem esper that can absorb magic knowledge without the side effects and no one knew she was a gem.

komoe doesnt have theeidetic memory whichwas the key reason why they chosed Index as "database" (of course it is only my speculation but she didnt show anything else :/ )

What's the point of making these comparisons? Its like saying could "Shounen A" be Kamijou if he is everything like Kamijou?

Also, when I'm talking about magic being sealed, even Espers and normal humans can do magic, albeit with consequences. Thats because of the natural of lifeforce converting into mana. Whatever the church did, they also sealed that away.

but who said the science side couldn't do the same thing like Index? Kamachi-sensei left that open, since there is no details on whether if or if not can the science side do the same as the magic and improve on it. Heck maybe if Aleister has nothin else to do he could probably do it.

also even if Komoe-sensei isn't from the magic side, she is still able to use magic regardless being in AC as shown back around volume one, where she used healing magic to heal index, then later in the daihasensai arc to heal Himegami from critical condition.

(off-topic: Komoe-sensei could probably play a better support role than index could ever do.)

That's because they don't have 103000 grimoires.

Hell, no single church have that number. We don't know what kind of strings were pulled for them to get that access to the Vatican vault but it's certainly not "easily replicable"

The science side has no use for grimoires, so it wouldn't make sense to replicate the things that the science can't use, but rather make and equivalent of index based on Science texts and research and data and statistics, something a bit further than Kazekiri's angel mode and more than normal Komoe-sensei. Make Komoe-sensei surpass even the almighty supercomputer known as Tree Diagram.

Look, why on Earth would you need to copy magic side for this? There's no such thing as "Evil Science Data" that would cause normal people to bleed out of their skin whenever they look at it... I don't care what Aerospace students tell you.

i dont get what you mean, KT, why should the science side create a Index?

BTW: since we are talking so nicely, i have a question:
the "personality into another body" thing, should theoretically work for humans too, so, if they can capture index, would it be possible to take her "self" out and replace it? would the grimoire kill the new owner? (let him bleed to death?)

Are you serious? Tree Diagram was the best super-computer in the world used to monitor the city's weather and security and doubling as an aid to research and experiments thanks to its high calculation power. Doesn't that sound like something AC would have a lot of uses for?

:P whoa, when did I mention that? I don't believe I said it to that effect, I said they are vulnerable, their capabilities are beyond human nevertheless, but their still machines that need human interface for it to work.
