I just noticed something interesting while playing, I don't know if that was already reported.

In Ep2 there's always been a controversy about one of Eva's statements: "you are the only grandson to carry father's blood".

In the PS3 version that line has been changed and expanded. Eva now clearly explains that "because Battler removed himself from the register" you (George) are the only grandson to carry father's blood.

I think it's interesting. It means that even in Japan that sentence was the object of many discussions and Ryuukishi must have decided to make it clearer.

Well just finished episode 1 the other day XD it took like 20 hours LOL It is really fun to play. It makes so much more sense playing it than watching the anime (also is way for fun). I do wish that they would have showed the bodies is my only gripe. On to ep two XD

I don`t rember Kinzo`s exact reasoning for why no one was fit to be head.
But Battler`s was along the lines of "he gave up the family name so he is no longer worthy"
I`m going to replay ep one and see what they all are. :3

Nope other than witchhunt who translated the game which can be got on their website and whoever translated the manga, no Umineko things are out. In english.

Though YenPress might take the manga on at some point. If they do I hope they don`t censor it to much....

Did a cg .rar pack ever get posted? I've searched on google and can't find more than the ocasional highres cg shot but nothing along the lines of a cg/sprite pack

So it's pretty much a retelling of EP 1-4?

Gah. That's boring. But I do kind of like the art, only because it has an animation style to it and the characters actually look like they blend/belong in the scene (Although I just the opening).

It IS EP 1-4. With voice acting and more refined artwork. Just actually listening to the melodramatic dialogue is part of what makes it worth it.
