Fan-sub of ep 1 is out! There were some lines I couldn't understand in the raw - nice to know what's really going on now.

It's out everyone! I hope you enjoy it!

Episode 2 was hilarious. Quite lively and a lot more fun than the first one.

I really enjoyed the first episode, even if it did feel a bit stale by now because I've read the first chapter several times. ^^; I'll definitely stick around for more, though. Big thanks to Arienai for subbing this!

Hurrah, quality anime for grown-ups!

I watched ep 1 this evening, went back for another listen to the OP, and ended up watching the whole thing again. I may not work as hard as Hiroko, but I could sure relate to those emotional highs and lows of hers. I also found the relationships within the office quite fascinating to watch - this must be an interesting series to translate, trying to capture all the social implications of the language...

Otsukaresama deshita, Arienai

Yep, ep2 sure is fun.

Spoiler for ep2:

Oh, and the wrapping for the nato maki is pretty cool. From what I see, they have a separate plastic wraping for the sea weed. And when you are eating it, you extract the sea weed and then wrap around the rice.

You can probably find these at any japanese grocery store/convinience store. I know I've bought one down in L.A. myself.

Well, I think I'll be following this show as well. I didn't exactly like the design of the main character while looking at promo images but while watching the show it seems perfectly normal. And the story seems interesting.

OMFG i love this show already its so damn funny i was kind of weirded out when i say the name of the series then read premise. But i really like it i even like the animation. I can only see this series getting funnier so far my 2nd surprise of the fall season. I found my self thinking about all the things Hiroko said in her office and man i wish i could get away with saying half of the shit she does to my boss and co-workers. I think the emotional aspect of the anime and the fact that most of the story takes place in workplace something we can all relate to makes it that much more intresting to watch.

Nice first episode. When even a lazy bastard like me ends up liking a character who is a total workaholic, this series must be doing something right. I will definitely keep an eye on this show.

Nice starting episode for an anime about the workforce. Since I was looking for a more mellow anime, This might be a good anime for me to keep an eye on.

Thanks for telling us, I just added it to AnimeSuki. Yes, AnimeSuki lists wikis when we know that there is a page for a show.

And it has already grown beyond a stub. Yay for wikipedia!

I was relatively impressed by the first episode .... the frenetic pace of the story reflects the stress of the office life nicely. She's moving so fast she barely has time to reflect and when there's time she's too exhausted.

I'm just glad to see more anime showing up like this and the H&C series that explores life beyond high school. Take time to stop and watch the sakura in their seasons, eh? This show is a bit of a stylized insight into all the things still screwed up in modern Japanese business culture (not that American business culture isn't screwed up in exactly the other direction ).

High school animes are getting old if you ask me. It's great to see an anime about something OTHER than high school
