On a positive note was nice that the song in the first episode (Euterpe) was included on the ED single release. Now can finally listen to the song and not have to start up the first episode. Easier to listen without the explosions and missiles .

Gai is either lying or is planning something really friggin epic. But to have pretended this long, I think Gai also "forgot" about Shu..

as for the mysterious girl that looks like Inori, she is someone important to Shu and Gai .. why is it that I'm guessing Inori will die in the end?

Why does people think that people will die around Shu or people important to him? Including me though I think it will be Gai but others said it's Haruka.

There's a part of me that wouldn't object to Gai getting a Kamina moment that forces Shu to man up (though the more likely alternative is Shu backing out completely without Gai there to drag him by the collar).

I don't see it happening, but I've entertained the thought.

Sounds like Shu's mother may have died when Shu was really young and his father remarried Haruka...*shrugs* But they look so much alike, it's uncanny; she really does look like his older sister.

I can't really call Inori's death until we get a bit more understanding about that other girl who was talking through her. I wouldn't be unbelievably shocked if she died, but I'm not really expecting it at this point either. Need to wait and see still.

She is a young milf, there is nothing uncanny about that. She had Shu in her early 20s, she was around 27 in the picture seen at the end of episode 7 and now she is 37-38 in the current time (2039). Also remember that japanese do look much younger than their real age (even more in anime).
