Chapter 33 is now out.
Tournament arc continues and Kail feels like he's being watched when he visits a Church.
Minami the assassin appears again but she isn't how Kail remembers her.

So we find out why Minami is different from how Kail remembers.
Turns out she was the one who killed the crowned prince in the old timeline which made her confident and stronger. But because the client who hired her is now dead(the King who tried to have his daughter killed) Minami is less confident in this timeline.
And Seran's mom Leila is also entering the tournament.

i don't know. Maybe get Minami to stop the betting for that match or maybe Kail will win.

The manga is close to the middle of volume 3 of light novel (7 volumes as of 10/2016). And I hope Minagi doesn't fall in zannen category when she joins the group.

Look like they are bitter grudge between two boys wait to be settled. I really afraid Kail or Seran will go dark side. Those two seriously darker compared usual hero and his bro-companion sometimes you need to flip a coin to random guess which one will betray the party first.

Does anyone know who Seran's father is? Originally I thought it was Roerl because of the similar hair and because Leila said he was her previous master. But now after having reread the manga I think it may be the current Emperor. Although it still is possible that Roerl is his father, I would've expected Selaia to react on her husband cheating on her. Leila said that she was keeping Seran around for a reason, I am thinking that reason is either blackmail, or as an added insurance.
Seran does also resemble the second prince and the first princess. Wouldn't surprise me at all if she kept Seran around to avoid having the emperor come after her because he's the emperor's son.
