Here's a sample that I am certain several members of this board who reads Cobalt can answer: What is the full maiden name of Yumi's mother, and full name of Yumi's father? hint: The answer is in this month (August 2004) issue of Cobalt magazine, in Konno Oyuki's short story "Toshokan no Hon." |

i think in real life, an all girls sch is a LOT more bitchy... but I digress.... actually i thought the original series started off a bit slower. the spring season's pace was much faster. but maybe that's just because I have been watching a lot of slow moving animes recently:P |

fuz_mind: I gotta agree, the 2nd season does seem to have a faster pace. More scenes in one ep!! w00t w00t But I do hope it has more purposeful/meaningful eps than the first season's rather silly set of eps. |

a lot of the series that I;m following at the moment are pretty slow in the releases. hmm maybe it's the exam period or something strangely, even though s1's pace is a bit slower, I enjoyed it much better. S1 gives me this really calm and peaceful feel when I'm watching it. |

I agree, maria-sama ga miteru gives me also a peaceful and calm feel.
I watch the show as an opportunity for escapism and I donīt want it to be overly realistic or with a very deep meaning. I need to see more episodes of season 2 before I can have an substantiated opinion about the different paces of the two seasons. |

another fyi, there will probably be a week delay for ep 4 because a few of the staff will be gone for vacation and will be back in a weekish. remember, patience is virtue. |

This July 26th, the novel/mook "Maria-sama ga Miteru ~ Premium Book" went on sale. In addition to Hibiki Reine's short-mangas, there is Konno Oyuki's added short story "ANSWER," which deals with how Youko chose Sachiko to her petit soeur. All "Super Rosa Gigantea" fans should were excited as she makes another appearance here - along with "Super Rosa Chinensis" who they both make a strong impact despite they aren't focused in the short story that much. |
