So no one drinks white tea? They just drink green tea because anime characters drink it?

Yes, that's a white tea. It's simply dried without going through the processes that makes green and black tea.

I've tried white tea, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. (If you'll pardon the expression )

I like black, green, oolong, and a few herbals (such as roobios), but I don't like white.

As for me, I only drink black tea. Since the Turks can even rival the Britons in terms of tea consumption (if you are lucky, you can get it served 5 times a day) [/cliché]. That's also the reason why I was exposed to black tea since I was ~3 years old - and before someone asks, no it was not meant to be as a mother milk substition - but close ^_^.

Nowadays I only drink the tea without sugar only since I'd inflate like a balloon if I'd put a cup of sugar in every cup I drink

I also tried green tea once and was utterly disappointed: It smelled like horse stables and tasted likewise so I haven't bothered to touch it again until know (or any other tea for that matter). Yeah, go ahead and call me a purist, I'm proud of it

PS: Anyone uses or knows this type of tea kettle?
Spoiler:

It's quite handy since you have the (highly) concentrated black tea in the smaller, upper kettle and hot water on the bigger kettle. That way you can mix them both and never get a tea that's either too strong or too weak in taste.

Earl Grey is the only tea I'm used to. The rest I'm not too very fond of.

By contrast, I can't stand Earl Grey. The taste of bergamot totally ruins the flavor of the tea for me. Any advice on how to recognize a really good Earl Grey so that I can be sure it is just me?

Maybe Earl Grey just isn't your cup of tea (hyuk hyuk hyuk -__-). Why don't you try buying the most expensive Earl Grey tea you can find, and when you find that you still don't like it, just send it to me. My address is P.O.Box....

Just 2-3 minutes for me, but if I'm in the middle of something, the tea sometimes gets cold before I remember.

I usually keep my tea bag in my cup until Im done drinking it, mostly because I save money by using tea bags 2 or 3 times before I throw them out. Is that gross?.. Im not sure, but I enjoy my tea strong and bitter. Just like how I prefer dark chocolate over milk chocolate, I guess

Yes. That's pretty gross.

I brew for about 2-3 minutes normally. 4-5 minutes for English Breakfast. 7 minutes for rose buds.

You can do that with green tea cause its strong and pure.

I eat the bag.

I eat the spice on my chai tea. All i have to do is rip the bag and eat everything inside. Same with the green tea after tea fusion.

You mean I'm not the only one who sometimes eats green tea after infusing it? I don't like the taste of black tea leaves, but some green tea is really yummy.
