DVD + Blueray sales

Westlo, are there any news on the DVD + Blueray front? Do you know how sales of the first episode have progressed? And when will the next release be?

I better hope then that there are no major changes anymore from the normal episode releases, or my friend in South America will be waiting a long time for his stuff. ^^

I still hope for more updates on the sales of the Yack Deculture edition.

^ that's really intresting, with the cockpit folding back wards does that mean the pilot is sitting upside down when he's in battleroid mode?

Nope, he simply flips 90 degrees forward. Notice in the shots of the internal cockpit of the VF-25 in any Frontier episode that the cockpit canopy is always at the pilot's rear.

According to this thread.

http://forums.animesuki.com/showpost...0&postcount=58

Macross F (Frontier) (Satelight)
2008/07/25 22,183 Vol. 1 (Three versions of Episode 1)

He can't get Blueray information since they only release Blueray rankings and not actual sale data. The only reason we got the first week figure was biggest it was big news that a Blueray version outsold a dvd version.

Mercí. Well, then Frontier probably won´t outsell Geass. Too bad.

For some reason, the toy looks a tad bit bulkier than the VF in the anime. I actually prefer this size over the one in the anime, he looks anorexic on screen.

Well if you combine its Blueray sales with dvds Vol 1 has probably outsold every Geass volume except Vol 1.

Sheryl RC car

Not sure if anyone would be interested in this piece of Macross F merchandise but if you're into RC's (Radio controled cars) then you may want to invest in something like this.

They consist of two versions:

- Macross Frontier Sheryl Nome - Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII (40 MHz).
- Macross Frontier Ranka Lee - Subaru Impreza WRX” (27 MHz)

Both are 1/28 scale replica RC cars with full body paint. Each will cost around 4800yen, batteries not included.

You can check it out here on an affiliate site of Bandai Namco known as CCP Co. LTD:
http://www.ccp-jp.com/2006_CCP-TOY/c...ara_index.html

Looks like I'll be dipping into my wallet once again for Sheryl-related products...

A plane deco of Sheryl...or her own personal plane?

Fire Bomber-class "Listen to my song" fighter pilot Sheryl Nome to the rescue!

Ranka's done it once with help....let's see if Sheryl can do it with style.

And a sneak peek on the VF-25's boxart:

Seems they're going the HG 00 style with the Macross kits
