Neither. The full title of the song is "Nagi ~Peace of Mind~". The "~Peace of Mind~" part is a subtitle or something. I don't really understand why the Japanese sometimes title their songs like that, though. I've seen such titles used here and there... the most recent one in my memory would be "Kuon ~The Memories of Light and Waves~" which is the main title theme from Final Fantasy X-2.

The artist that sung "Nagi ~Peace of Mind~" btw is Okazaki Ritsuko.

Whoa... just watched episode 13 and it was great in the sense of dynamic combat... A good episode and a good series. Looks like everything was nicely concluded and every character's desires were fulfilled.

Spoiler for Question on one character's ending:

They did leave it hanging with Felicia's conclusion though. Is she leaving the country or what?

Also Ayunoisuke came back. So does that mean another 300 year old unfulfilled soul is coming back (possible season 3)? But didn't Yagyu Jubei (the original) get his desire fulfilled as well, so will Jiyuu again be able to turn into Jubei-chan then?

Or maybe it was all just a happy ending.

but didn't Freasha have the same school clothes as Jiyu? and I SO HOPE THERE WILL BE a third season, whether it relates to Jubei or not! Maybe they can have a side arc for another member of the Yagyu clan? OoOooo the possibilities!

A great ending to a good series. Sure they left it open-ended for another series but it was a satisfying ending nonetheless.

The combined Jiyu-freasha Jubei looked awesome and it was funny when the ghosts were all leaving and you could still see all the side-characters on top of the tree.

Just watch the final ep. The action of this series is just great. I first download this series for its action and I am not disappointed. But there are some questions I have for the final ep:

Dunno... Freshea's scene was too open ended to make any conclusions. On one hand, she is wearing Jiyuu's school jacket. But why isn't she with them? And what is she doing at the Japanese border marker? (yes I believe that was the marker designating the border of Japan when she first arrived in Japan) So I think no one can give a conclusive answer of her fate.

Ayunosuke (monkey girl as you call her) might have come back... why? No one would be sure... Her sleeping in the dog house is a reference back to the first season where her father slept in the dog house while trying to get Jiyuu to accept the Lovely Eyepatch.

That's actually the tombstone of Yagyu Jubei. There's a scene with Koinosuke and Jubei's grave in the first season. Your explanation for Ayunosuke is right on the dot though.

Well, I just saw the end of Jubei Chan and I agree with everyone that the end was rather inconclusive.

What happened to Kita by the way. In the ED theme song, he was wearing a police uniform of somekind. I hope Freasha didn't leave because if they make another sequel, the show will be incomplete without her. In any case, she probably didn't leave since EclipseZeta explained that she was merely visiting her father's grave. Her inclusion to the show is what makes this series that much better IMO. Also, I was kind of hoping that it was Koinosuke not Ayunosuke in that dog house. It would have made it that much more romantic.

Regardless, this has been an amazing experience. I was in awe by the whole action sequence in the last episode yet again. This is definitely my favorite show of 2004 so far. In terms of overall production quality, this show is top notch. Of course, there are plenty of other shows that have yet to air.

Solar's job on this series is especially amazing. I like how you guys did that comic strip thingy in the beginning. I admit, I haven't seen any other works by you guys in the past but I'm definitely looking forward to anything else you guys will do in the future.

With the ending being so open-ended, there's a big chance that they'll turn this into a trilogy. I am so hoping that is the case.

Is she in love with Sai, Jubei’s father? I didn’t watch the first season. I was surprised to find out that she is married! I thought that she was in love with Sai, you know, because of the way she interacts with him…. But then, it also seems like she is only acting that way so she can stay with Jubei and protect her. There are a few moments (ok, a lot) when she seems to be more concerned about Jubei than Sai. Also, her husband doesn’t seem to be worried. So…what’s up with those two?
