Hmm, background art is done by Inspired. They're the team that formed for Oshii Mamoru's Je t'aime short anime since last year by ex-Ghibli Masuyama Osamu and DIRECTIONS staffs. Interestingly, Masuyama also assist Kaieisha in producing Tokikake backgrounds.

Oh so there's going to be a Meruru anime? I'm sure Kirino would be happy. I'm excited to see Madoka shoots through Homura with her golden arrow. There's even a mascot character who's kind of similar to Comet-kun.

I think that they may go psycho like in Higurashi.

It's kind of funny that we are so sure that this series will become a horror/tragic anime when it is not even aired yet. As I've already said, it would be a big surprise if it doesn't turn out like we anticipate. I'm not sure if it's a good thing or not.

Trolling implies malicious intent, which I think very few in the entertainment industry are out to do. As long as it's entertaining, whatever tone it takes won't matter too much.

Things like that died after Sailor Moon died, no one wants Tuxedo Mask archtypes, at least for creators. I expect betrayal of some sort soon enough
