Deku's finally able to move again! Furthermore, he's now able to use the quirk of the fourth OFA user, "danger sense" (so basically spider sense, heh ). Meanwhile, as Compress tries to escape, Mirio catches up and beats him up! Just when the hero is about to target Shigaraki and Spinner next, the former regains consciousness once his father's hand is placed back on his face....

.....Except it's not Tomura who's awake, but All For One! Apparently, it was the collective anger and hatred of the LoV that awakened him! When Spinner asks him what they'll do about their comrades, the AFO-possessed Shigaraki tells him not to worry. His host may have lost to Endeavor, but he's fine with any sacrifices made on the villain side. After all, everything is for his (AFO's) sake.

It's at this point that Deku finally catches up to the villains with Black Whip! However, AFO tells the young hero that they'll meet again once Tomura's body is complete, and blasts him away with a shock wave, giving the villains time to make their escape! As he's sent flying, Deku says he'll never forgive Shigaraki for all the carnage he's caused. However.... during the brief time they encountered each other within their respective quirks' vestiges, he couldn't help but notice that Shigaraki looked as if he were asking to be saved when AFO possessed him....

Glad that the real villain of the series is taking charge. Why did he bother grooming Shigaraki if he merely wanted him as host though?

I think AFO's plan is something similar to the Demon King's from Nanatsu no Taizai. Remember how the DK was counting on Meliodas' curse to kill his emotions so he'd become the perfect, unresistant host body to control? I think that's basically what AFO's doing to Shigaraki.... continually manipulating his already messed up head so he wouldn't resist when the time was right. Though if that's really the case, I wonder if AFO had any other villains in mind as a backup host? Machia, perhaps....?

I'm no happy with the idea of Deku feelings the slightest bit sorry for Shigaraki. I don't want this manga to go anywhere near a Shigaraki-redemption route.

On the one hand, I'm happy to hear more of AFO, he's much more impressive than Shigaraki. On the other hand, I'm afraid this will be the start of Deku and/or All Might "saving" Shigaraki from AFO eventually, despite how much the manga has played up Shigaraki's madness.

Since we've seen that AFO basically transferred his quirk and his mind into Shigaraki, he's probably been setting Shigaraki as a new host body, which isn't too surprising considering his original self is still in horrible shape. Using Shimura's grandson just adds insult to injury, so sounds like the evil kind of thing he'd do.

Though if so, too bad, I liked the story better when it looked like he really was just grooming Shigaraki as a successor, as an indirect way of getting back at All Might (his thoughts on mentorship as he was sent to prison).

I doubt it will be Shigaraki Tomura that Deku tries to same. More than likely, it will be Shimura Tenko, who will get a second chance at life without AFO's plot interferring.

Maybe it's something like what happens in Phi Brain. The ultimate villain set up all the nonsense about "divine scrolls" to get someone to train their brain to a level that would serve his needs (basically solving the "puzzle" that is the universe). There could be bits left, or some impact from his brain and its state/capabilities that could be useful. That, and then maybe he wanted to have things set up before he took over. There could be any number of issues with the possession that might make it difficult or risky to do too much on his own at first, so it'd be safer for him to train the boy up until he's got what it takes to build an infrastructure that he can take over.

Concerning the poll on "worst heroine", I'd have to disagree. I fully agree on number three, except she should be number one, but Ochako is great. Not used to her full potential perhaps, but great all the same.

Like I said, AFO is basically gonna become NNT's Demon King 2.0! Hopefully, this series' final battle won't turn out to be as anticlimactic....

So I guess the battle is over. Spinner should get the fuck out of here, he should have no reason to serve AFO. I'm not sure why he was even so loyal to Shigaraki in the first place, hasn't he realized he doesn't give a damn about Stain's ideals and just wants to fuck shit up?

I believe Shigaraki is totally done, and so does Villain Alliance
not sure about Grand Macchia but AFO would form a new villain group for sure

Heroes organization didn't lose too many people but they lost most of their trust for sure
I might not be surprised to see them struggling financially in upcoming arc

LOV is done for at this point, AFO only care should be the doctor and Machia, frankly, beside the doctor who might really be needed to perfect AFO body, Machia is possible to leave in cells until AFO is 100%. AFO can save Machia though, consider those restraint him are pretty much out of league if AFO decided to come there

And to be fair, it is better for him to just ignore Lov, consider now that Heroes team is clearly going through massive trust issues next arc, Hawk can be salvaged somewhat with Best Jeanist appearance, but the suspicion is still there, And not to mentioned the whole Endeavor issues that is bring up live. Leaving Lov will likely scatter them and cause even more chaos damaging the heroes more. The only way out for the heroes is to literally capture every single members of Lov left, but with the mastermind effectively missing, it doesn't do much with all the damage to the city that is already there.

The (low) credibility Dabi has should be non-existent after pointing that out, to be frank. There really needs to be more done to cause a big trust crisis if it happens. Stellar writing setup it ain't.
