Really well done. It was great.
I never knew much about 4th hokage, but he sure was an amazing person.
Loved the flashbacks, especially the fight scenes and the sealing. The only thing I did not like, nor understand, is the strange animation during the initial attack. Was that due to show budget or some other reason? Anyone that knows?

I think this was my first 10 to any naruto episode, ever.

The obvious answer is "some other reason" (more specifically, "because it looked cool as fuck").
I don't get why some people are so narrow minded to assume anything that wasn't done in the usual style was done like that "because of the low budget". Can't you really judge with your eyes? Does it seriously look low budget to you?

Anyway, good special. The second episode was kind of a disappointment: it was handled by the best AD working on Naruto right now, but for some reason it looked much worse than his previous episodes.
The first episode was pretty spectacular though, so I can't complain.

Both the episodes are really well done and Fourth Hokage really is the coolest Hokage ever seen. I was expecting some very teary scene from the villager at the end for the death of Minato but i guess it is ok to skip since the villager will most probably be sad because of their own family member instead of their amazing Fourth Hokage.

The fight didn't seem as impressive animated. It was mostly Madara trying to touch Minato in his naughty place, then Minato teleporting away. I probably would've preferred if they sped up the rasengan part, and showed the slowed down version as some sort of recap.

probably one of the most emotional parts in Naruto. Glad to see they did the Minato fight really well.

I really loved both of the episodes - it was most definitely an emotional experience.

This probably is 2 of the best episodes of Naurto i've ever seen.

def. 2 of the best episodes ever. I actually liked that strange animation when the kyuubi first attacked. it was like a mythical story out of book which is what that kyuubi attack first was in naruto before this intense back story. I thought it was a very cool transition and nothing to do with budget...

Those were some great episodes. Minato was a great guy and even though you knew he was going to die, you could really get into his fight with Madara. Plus that transportation technique was fun to watch in action. Really let him surprise Madara with a well timed rasengan.

=O.. I love the two episodes! I think they were both spectacular in my opinion. I defiantly love the fight between Madara and Minato and also Kushina's speech at the end. These two episodes are probably one of my favourite, took a long time for a good episode like this to come out from the series, makes me love it even more than before.
That is what you call true parents
Hope they make great episodes still!

WOW WOW WOW!!...how badass was Minato, absolutely owned Madara. There's not one person in the series that I can think of who've come even close to touching Madara..really shows how good he was..also such a touching episode with Kushina giving motherly advice to Naruto..brought tears to my eyes..20 out of 10 from me

Think I'll watch it another ten times....

Definitely two of the best episodes of the entire series! The animation was pretty solid, the action scenes were great and emotional scenes were perfectly conveyed.

Gotta love the use of seals and barriers in battle. Hopefully Naruto will be able to learn more of these kind of moves as well. He should be able to learn them, since he's an Uzumaki.

I wonder if the seal Minato placed on Tobi's back will come into play in the future. I guess Naruto doesn't know about it though. Kushina couldn't have told him, since she hasn't seen the battle between Minato and Tobi.

I'm sure he would've noticed it already and removed it when he was replacing his melted arm.
