The thing about Aizen seriously injuring the captains, but not killing them is to show them that he is the top dog, and no matter what they do, it will not prevent him from bringing in his so called "new world" which I have no idea what it involves

That episode was painful to watch. Especially when you see the highlights of some of the best scenes in Bleach and now we get an almost entire episode that's a recap from the beginning of Bleach up to now.

The only similarity I found out for this recap episode in comparison to DBZ's Android's saga recap episode was the use of spy bugs to survey unnoticed Ichigo's past battles.

I saw that was the best part of this episode and that makes it better than the manga version of this

finally catching up on my bleach episodes. for almost all of that ep Aizen was watchin bleach on youtube. thats is all i can got from this ep at 2.am and with lack of food and sleep.
gins face was so cute at the end of the ep :3

Spoiler: The one defining difference, and to which added a whole level of freshness to this Bleach's recap episode, was the insertion of original footage behind-the-battle-scenes featuring old Aizen surveying the videos.
