Wait....he said he couldn't activate his Minus right then because Zenkichi surprised him?

When Zenkichi tried kill Misogi, he lost his cool and his power suddenly stopped working? That's a pretty flimsy sounding excuse, even for Misogi. Call me crazy, but that sounds like just another one of his lies.

The story goes out of it's way to say Zenkichi is Normal, when we keep seeing hints and evidence that he's not. Misogi even wanted to be friends with him, it's like he's got some kind of "Minus Attraction" going on. I can't wait for the translation so I can fully understand it.

I start to think, that this was meant to take literally: This guy fail in really EVERYTHING! In the most epic way possible. Yes, this guy IS the PERSONIFICATION of EPIC FAIL!

For example, when he want to slaughter people... They will survive! (Look at massacer at the start... Some wounds looked really deadly and but in the end, everyone was (physically) fine.)

Now, let´s say, Kumagawa actually really tries to be a nice guy... But because he fails THIS, too, everyone sees him as a pervert!

The fight with Zenkichi? Things went wrong, right when he said: "I give up."

At first, it looked like he lied and played "I surrender, Sucker", but now I think... He really wanted to give up... and FAILED!

He wanted to heal Zenkichi´s eyes... And failed!

He wanted to become Zenkichi´s friend... And failed!

He wanted to use All Fiction, because he didn´t want to die... AND FAILED!

I actually don´t doubt that he tries to kill all abnormals... Because who knew what could have happen, if he would try to live in peace with them!

The only question is now: Is this guy still sane or is his mind actually already broken by so much fail... Albeit I believe, if he would try to go mad, he would fail this, too...

I had honestly forgotten about that.

But judging from the rage on his face, and the other Minuses attacking Akune, Kikaijima, Hinokage and Maguro, my guess is he fully intended to kill Zenkichi. His ability to attract Minuses is probably what brought Misogi to try and make that deal to be Zenkichi's friend. But I think he wanted to kill him, and cheat by having the rest of his team kill the other members of the student council so they'd automatically win the other fights by default.

But that's just my guess.

I think, he said in chapter 71 he was not surprised, when Zenkichi was revived.

What pissed him off were the fact, that somehow Zenkichi´s eyes were healed despite Kumagawa himself was unable to do so. But what exactly made him so angry about this?

Was it because he is actually proud on his power with "All Fiction" or something entirely different?

Who knows, maybe he likes Zenkichi as a Normal and when he saw him all healed, he was disturbed that Zenkichi may be not so normal as he thought. But he calms down when he realised that this may be the work of Ajimi and Zenkichi is still a Normal...

But yeah... Even if it was true, what I said, his character still would at least morally ambigously. It really depends on him being aware of his Epic Failures or not.

I think, they will reveal now a rule who allows the Student Council to refill their positions, if some of their people should have a little... accident.

So, there are now two free places in Medaka's team... But who could fit into them?

It's not like we have two characters, who were just released from the hospital, ready to kick Minus's asses, most likely immune against their mind rape through their own abnormality induced insanity and have powers we didn't see until now, right?

It is DISTURBING! Medaka has ten pages and Zenkichi has eight and Kumagawa, whose face is only know since 17 chapters has already 9 pages!

I think, this says a lot about the reception of this character!

I just re-read chapter 71.

I just noticed that Zenkichi's wearing his middle school uniform while in limbo.

(I can't believe I noticed that just now)

So....I guess that means that Aijimi was that girl in middle school that Misogi killed.
