Naruto's Father?

I'm not sure if you can even consider this a spoiler or not because we don't know if it's true...

Someone told me in a forum once Naruto's father might be the 4th Hokage. How much would that rock? There's been no proof or talk of it yet in the show, so post your thoughts on it! They do look alike, after all.

Again I would like to say this is just a *theory.*

Aw come on..Not everyone follows every topic in the forum...I did a search and there is no thread exist on that topic although there are threads that discussed the theory many times...Kakashi-sensei, I remember Dranz-san saying that Naruto's roots is one of the ultimate mystery in the Naruto anime/manga...I will post the link of that thread..Naruto Q & A[spoilers]I guess Hunter is retiring

Exactly! This is the first entire thread relating to the 4th being Naruto's dad.

Getting back to the main reason for the thread...
Do you think its true he is really his dad? What do you think of the theory? Why do you think he would seal the ninetails in his own son, perspectively?

There's been no indication that Naruto is the 4ths son. In fact, its quite unlikely given the way the 4ths death, the sealing and Naruto has been handled. Surely if Naruto was the 4ths kid, he would be loved by the village, and that facet of his heritage would be promoted not hidden, instead of the power sealed within him.

Hm... when I did a search that one didn't come up. Well, if anyone does care.. they both have blond hair blue eyes... no one else in Konoha seems to have the same. Plus if you look at the pictures above their hair is similar too.

The 4th sealed the Kyuubi into Naruto not wanting everyone to hate him, but for people to see Naruto as a hero who lives with the burden of the village. After the 4th's death everyone was "tolerable" to Naruto, but as soon he wasn't remembered as much, and the 3rd couldn't keep up with the 4ths wishes, everyones parents hated Naruto. (Extremly long sentence, sorry) The 4th didn't want everyone to see Naruto as the holder of the killer of soo many konoha shinobi, but people think what they think. So in my own opinion, I think that Naruto maybe the 4th's son because he gave Naruto a huge responsibility to carry. I don't think the 4th would have done that for some strange baby.

I thought that because of like the whole seal thing about the sealers start bonding or conjoining of the soul or something was the reason they were looking really similar. Or maybe the creator just did it to throw a monkeywrench in the mix. He's been doing that a lot lately.

Also in like some chapter in the manga when we meet Tsunade, if that's how you spell her name, her younger brother looked exactly like Naruto,but missing a tooth and without the 3 marks on each side of his face.

But what if Naruto was like the 4th's bastard child? Like he screwed some random prostitute and out came Naruto. I know it won't happen, but the thought of it was cool.

As was stated before, if naruto is the 4th's son, the villagers would have treated him better. However the 4th couldn't have just sealed the kyubi in some random kid, and they do look alike. Therefore Naruto is probably the 4th's nephew, but if he was the 4th's illegitimate son, that could make sense too, as only a few people, like the 3rd or Jiraiya, would know his lineage.

what makes u think that every1 knew that he was the child of the 4th , possibly not every1 knew... and also there hatred for the kyuubi could be great enuff to over come who naruto is
