Pokemon Conquest is pretty fun, actually. Not obviously as complex as a Nobunaga's Ambition game, but it's a very enjoyable game to play. Also, the game's more of a triple crossover, since Conquest uses the Samurai Warriors character design as opposed to the more realistic style of the Nobunaga's Ambition games.
Anyway, I'm hoping if they implement Supports for this, they make it a combination of FE's supports with DeSu 2's FATE system.

The game will be called Illusory Revelations #FE in Japan. (Not a hashtag)
Crossover games typically have characters from different characters meeting in a singular one. I guess that this crossover deals mostly on the mix of aspects on SMT and FE in a new narrative. Also, someone accidentally leaked some Persona into this concoction by the looks of it. Looking at the Like vs. dislike statistics from the videos on YouTube, there is some dissidence. |

It looks more like a original idea if you ask me.
Not really a fan of Fire Emblem, but if the aspects of it are as trivial as they appear to be in that trailer and the gameplay looks fun enough then I may check the game out anyway.

I expected people to be unhappy no matter what they created. That's the nature of crossovers. Personally, I'm just shocked they actually made the game at all. I expected it to be quietly forgotten as the Wii U wound down.
Now I'm looking forward to it.

I personally don't see what's the big deal: not all crossovers have to include characters from their respective franchise. For all it is worth, I clearly recognized the mood and gimmicks from both franchise, although SMT/Persona was more prevalent in the trailer.
While I would have preferred a full fledged FE on the WiiU, #FE is actually interesting in its presentation. Might be a good surprise considering how unlikely that crossover was to begin with.

i may be wrong but it looks like to me that the SMT characters are the playable characters and they are combining with/summoning the FE characters if that's the case then the FE characters role is similar to that of the demons/personas with tiki being the person that handles the compendium system some of the other games had

IF that's what it is, then it's pretty much what I expected in the first place. IF. However, it's hard to tell what exactly is going on, since their fantasy versions barely look like Fire Emblem characters and might as well be any other medieval fantasy setting characters.
*edit* http://www.tradukosoft.com/2015/04/342/ This interview with the director of the game has him admitting that the Fire Emblem aspect wasn't really shown in the trailer and asks that we stay tuned for more information on it. Quote:
