why did they have to make it to a harem? 13 years old kids cant handle that kind of relationship. Anyway I dont really like how this "Gattai" thing; I want the old beam saber and those hacks RG system's dispersion.

Kind of a boring episode for me honestly, doesn't help that a good deal of the first half was recap (flashback and saying every Gunpla's full name) and pseudo-analysis (they're strong!), although at least we got a bit more detailed explanation of the assimilation power-up. Sekai's harem antics are still somewhat funny, though at the cost of Fumina being shoved to the side (she should follow Gyanko's example). Though seems like Shia just really does like strong Gunpla and strong fighters, being more teasing rather than any ulterior motives. And ends on a cliffhanger, oh well, guess better get used to these breaks now that we're at the national tournament.
Spoiler for battle:

Well, I thought they should have bazooka-ed the castle as well. But on second thought, I doubt team SD-R will be defeated so easily, plus they have plot armour on their end too (not one but two, how convenient that the battlefield's tailor-made for SD-R's combat style). On Try Fighter's end, I wonder why SD-R didn't just detonate the bomb immediately? Either they were just plain arrogant, or it's another plot armour meant to create the perfect circumstances for them to do battle.

I am not going to get upset over the communicate thing because that's already been established. For all we know, its some sort of tournament rule to only use the "in-game transmission". But I did think the smartest thing was to blow up the castle from outside using the Phoenix move.
The pacing is very much meh. If this SDR team takes 2 episodes, how long should we expect all the other fights take? There are still Junya and Minato and Gunpla Academy, which at this rate, would take 6 episodes. Then we gotta consider the idea of throwing White Wolf's team at Lucas and Lucas at Gunpla Academy. That's barely enough time for all 8 episodes. |

READY FOR A LONG AND COLORFUL REVIEW OF THIS EPISODE???!!
Ok this episode did not really do it for me, which is a first for the series, and of all things I somehow deleted my whole fucking comment halfway through typing it making me even more fucking pissed, and once you see how long it is you can see why Im this pissed. And yes I retyped ALL of it, for your entertainment, YOUR WELCOME The only part I enjoyed was the beginning for obvious reasons Then we cut to a boring filler of both teams overviewing each other, with NEITHER side making any guesses to what hidden systems the other team may have, YAY Then the match: As far as everyone is concerned its about as rigged/lucky as you can get. Its night, they have a castle, they have a small enclosed space, they SPAWN in the castle, they have time to set up. If this was a open space it would have been completely different. Try Fighters then decide to walk in instead of nuking the place, because the fight would be BORING AS FUCK. Then they have to FUCKING SHOE-HORN IN YUUMA BEING AFRAID OF FUCKING GHOSTS to further fuck up Try Fighters situation to place them where Team SD-R wants them Then despite all their CAREFUL PLANNING and strong systems (YAY ABSORB SYSTEM), their plans are fucked up by Fumina, whom every fucking team/viewer seems to underestimate to no end. Then despite their abilities, or strategically relocating, Team SD-R goes COMPLETELY OUT OF CHARACTER AND REVEALS THEIR TRUMP CARD IN THE SECOND FUCKING ROUND AND TELLS THE GUNPLA ACADEMY TO GET A LOAD OF THIS. UH-HUH This fight is literally a GIANT REHASH of the Seiran Academy round. Team Try Fighters go into a bad/ill purposed map courtesy bad luck, team member of Team Try Fighters fuck up the team (This time Yuuma for the lamest reason ever), the enemy employs strategy and everything goes according to plan, FUMINA FUCKS ALL THE PLANS UP BECAUSE NOBODY PREPARES ADEQUATELY OR TAKES INTO ACCOUNT THERE MAY BE HIDDEN SYSTEMS/POWERS, then WINNING ROAD FTW See?????? This episode is nothing but to sell the SD-R kits with an awesome Gattai sequence, and even then we don't know if the actual SD kits can do it. Uh-huh Next episode it seems we are just going to be getting an all out fight, so that should be fun, and at least hope they are strong enough to force out one of Team Try Fighters hidden abilities, In this case probably a new Winning Road To be frank, this pair up was not good, they are TRYING (HA!!!...-gets shot-) TOO HARD to give Try Fighters stronger opponents which is pointless, as we KNOW they are going to fight Sakai, Junya, and Gunpla Academy. These guys would have been perfect for another round against say Sakai for the awesome Gattai SRW battle that would come out of it, or as fodder for Lucas' Crossbone to demonstrate how overwhelming he is |

Try has to walk in because they don't want to give the opponent time to set-up traps. They know it's the opponent's style. They can't just destroy the place either since it will give away their location pretty quickly if the opponent weren't there. That's why you don't see other gunpla with big guns (Megashiki, Tryon 3, for example) just destroy everything in sight. They have to quickly find their enemy before the enemy finds them.
Of course, the opponent got to set up their traps anyway, because of Yuuma's hijinks. It doesn't excuse the luck of the enemy, but that was also an issue with the Renato brothers. |

Why it has to be a dragon where they could combine their SD Gundams into a cerberus, since they're expies of the Renato Bros.?
With that said, I don't like how this week's episode end in a cliffhanger. Not only that, but Team Try Fighters are in a difficult situation with the SxDxG having the Absorb System! |
