Anyway it's clear from this episode that Narukami can't do everything by himself, I don't know what happened in the game but from the 'nightmare' scene it shows how dependent he is on his friends.

Heck if I didn't know better, I would've thought this was his Shadow instead of that punk.

Best episode so far, that middle segment really portrays Yuu's fear so well. The end where he is able to unleash all those persona and remind himself that everything is fine, I don't mind seeing it again in the final battle because it will be different; This one is more focused on him believing in his bonds again.

Don't give a sht about animation simply because the story is just too awesome.

And it's pretty much obvious what happened in the game. A boss battle like all the others. This is not about what happened in the game, but rather about how useless all the characters seemed (since Yuu began to pretty much damage Mitsuo's barrier on his own anyway, so what did the others do in the end? Cheer for him lol)

This episode was an excuse to show off more Personas... I liked the Leanan Sídhe blowing into Shadow Mitsuo's ear though

I was so damn confused when they suddenly skipped to the omelet scene. I thought it was merely terrible editing and it took me a few minutes to realize Yu was actually getting mindfucked by the shadow. Nicely played, anime team. They took players like myself by surprise. Knowing that the omelet scene was supposed to be real worked against us.

Speaking of which, the true omelet scene was pretty good. Nanako is such an nice girl, pretending to like such horrible food so as to not hurt anybody's feelings.

Lol how they let Kuma take care of things while they had a conversation. Wow got really confused before finding out Narukami was being held in a vision of some sorts. Lol Kuma was hitting on that lady. Was actually worrying that they did separate. Wow how many personas did he just pull out. Like how Nanako was nice about everyone's omelette, glad Kuma promised to play with her.

At least that illusion really showed what Narukami felt which was the closest we ever get to see him fall in despair. Telling Kuma to take care of those shadows really must've been hard for him. The omelette scene split into two: one fake and one real. What is up with Shadow Mitsuo, guess those fish eyes really did make him feel empty? Persona frenzy, but looking what he has so far he might get a fusion in the future. Had to laugh at Amagi being K.O. by Rise's spicy omelette. I'm surprised that Narukami said he's competing against the girls in making omelettes. First bento and now omelettes.

Preview seems to show plenty of social links which is quite nice to have.

as much as I love this episode, a smoother transition would makes it better. It was jarring to say the least that I felt as if I got a corrupted copy.

Love the empty status though.

I've been wandering, why doesn't Yu have his own shadow?
Could it be that he has no hidden side?

ok episode i guess, 7/10

looks like theyll do some social link episodes from now on judging from the preview, i was hoping theyd do Naotas part first so she,ll be with the group from now until the end of series.

anyone else hoping for a different ending than the game?

I love the newest episode, despite the usual quality problems. Being a socially awkward person myself, I could really relate to Narukami's fear in the illusion when all the teammates were drifting away from each other, and he was all alone again. It's scary when the whole thing just feels so real, as it is a sad fact of life.

Yosuke and Narukami started calling each other's first names when looking at each other after Yosuke saved Narukami... Oh my, fujoshi's bait

I didn't understand much what's happening but just get the hint that it's a bad end and probably the doing of the shadow. Pretty bad animation as always but they did put budget in using tons of persona this time around. I don't have much to say but average to good episode. But, on the other side Spoiler for spoiler: I'm not sure I liked the Persona party in here. Why is it that they can't make this "teamwork"? Yeah, I know, the others prevented Mitsuo from using his awesome 2D shield but that doesn't really count for me. Maybe I should just really accept that they're going for a more cliche battle.
