Yep, kido attack should do. Energy and light does not age so those attacks should be effective against Barragan. At least that is what I would do if I am in Soi position. Physical attacks are out of the question because none of her attacks even connect and even if they connect who knows how much armor the 2nd Espada has. Unfortunately, the 2nd espada looks like he can take a punch.

Edit: Any energy attack should work. Ichigo hollow attacks, 3rd espada Asul attack, Cero, or any weapon that uses energy for its base attacks should work on the 2nd espada. Even the 4th espada Green exploding spear attacks should work.

Actually, the free energy carriers that exist in the atmosphere come from cosmic radiation and natural radioactivity as well as the photochemic effect. Doubt Kubo knows about it though

Still, as long as someone is far enough to avoid Barragan's time field, they should be able to do it. That is, considering he stands still and takes the hit while jesting about it, he seemed pretty agile when he broke Soifon's shoulder.

Barragan's release was awesome...but
I'm kinda disapointed they've not used that really cool spanishy music or music that woulda made this release more awesome....kinda like what they did with Nnoitra, that was an awesome use of music to awesome things up a bit.

Ah well. Totally lol'ed at the ending with Gin & Yamamoto

Helibeli sucked...Talk about overhyped...I told yall water powered villains aren't worth the paper they're written on...Both her and Hitsagaya just suck...Oooh I got water-typhoon powers, oooh I got uber freeze powers...Ugh

Gramps Espada was surprisingly good with an actual imaginative, not ridiculously cliche power...His deathmode transformation as the timeless prince of skeletal death was really pretty mesmerizing...No way Soi Foi should be able to beat this guy...I'm betting we get a tag-in...Let's hope...

And can they stop teasing us on Stark vs. Shunsui? I mean I feel like I'm at the strip club with 10-1$ bills waiting for that nasty pole dance inwhich I'll be propelled to "Make it Rain on them h0ez..." By the time they start fighting pole-dancing for real I'm gonna give my money to the hot waitress...Anyways, Timegramps was pretty cool, so I guess I enjoyed it...

So far Soi Fon is the only one who got the short end of the stick, talk about unfairness.

On espadas side that's Halibel. Even Aroniero and Zommari were not put that low.

Kubo is woman hater. I said it many times and I will say it again "I bet some girl had broken his arm in the past".

Not to be rude, but girls don't get much better than Halibel in these kinds of series do they?

Besides where was there such a rule saying "Only guys dominate in shounen"?

^ You left out Black Lagoon :P Some people stick to traditional stories (guy loves girl, evil guy takes her away, good guy gets training powah by mysterious guy, kicks the bad guy's ass and saves the girl). When using this kind of format, you can't have the girl kicking the bad guy's ass, unless the good guy is too pathetic to do anything (think Keigo/Oomaeda).
