Also, I don't recall there being an endless field of sunflowers in Hinamizawa or the Gifu mountains. Eh, we just needs some subs to see how funny this arc is, or whether Deen has even lowered their trolling standards.

Also, here is another image promoting (or this is the actual cover. I don't know.) the Nipa Nipa Ondo single. It will also include TV size versions of Happy! Lucky! Dochy! and 100% Magical Star. (It sounds like they WILL have different opening themes...?) |

Edit: Wow is it just me or has the art worsened going from Rei to Kira? And another thing, Hanyuu now has a body again? I know Rei didn't exactly follow the main story line but that is just inconsistent. Either that this OVA comes right after Kai or it's just Another one of DEEN's many mistakes. |

I haven't found a video of the ED song floating around yet.

I don't think it's a mistake. The OVA doesn't really follow the main story and it's probably best not try to place these episodes somewhere in the main timeline. (The first episode is just some fanservice, fun, humorous episode after all. I don't think it's even supposed to make any sense. ) Also, I believe Hanyuu has been shown to be able to switch from physical form to transparent at one point during the Matsuribayashi-hen VN (while speaking Oishi and Co.) And here's the YouTube link of the Magical Girl Oyashiro Rika PV: Last edited by Joly; 2011-07-21 at 08:44. |

A studio loses money only if it spends more on production than it receives from the sponsors. Generally, production studios do animate at a loss, but if they've acquired a stake in the show and score a big hit, they can recoup losses and profit (some aren't so lucky and die over the long run. Group TAC is an example). Studio DEEN rarely invests in a production, so it's in their best interests to keep costs as low as possible (i.e. even if the product is a big hit, they have no entitlement to royalties), else they'll bleed to death in time. As long as people keep contracting their services and they ensure that expenses rarely exceed commission fees, they can stay afloat indefinitely. |

Thanks for the kind explanation. So we are to blame the sponsors, huh... Oh well. I hope the actual episode will be... better animated than the OP
By the way, are there any news about the other OVAs? I knew the second one had to do with mahou shoujo, but I haven't heard anything yet about the third or the fourth. |
