Just looking around and it's hard not to notice a significant lack of actual people at a market or food stalls, either replaced by an AI or some automated system. I'm actually gonna be impressed if it touches the subject of people feeling shoved aside by AIs and does a decent job at it.
But what am I even saying! From it's tone, the most you'd expect is for the anime to go to huge lengths on how awesome the AI girls are and why we should love them, have some corporate assholes that like to abuse 'em, and show nothing of actual decent human beings that feel like they are being replaced, etc. That being said, another Guilty Crown-like trainwreck to ignite forums, blogs & youtube would be a welcome, spicy, treat for the winter. |

Well not a bad first episode. Though I wonder about the mentality of the people. Even if it is a robot arm...I wouldn't just pick up something like that. Doesn't feel far off from saying "hey there's a dead squirrel, I'm going to pick it up because it isn't human." Or just picking through a wrecked car. Some of these people just feel really weird. Even with getting on the MC for his early action. Yeah one of those 'people' wasn't human, but I'm pretty sure the old lady was. So why have a problem with him helping her out?
Maybe just a sign of how messed up that society has gotten. Jobs being almost entirely taken over by machines and people can't care the slightest about people they don't know. Old lady crossing the road? Who cares, it's the robot's job. But we'll still complain about not liking these robots anyways .

Apparently listed as 24 episodes. 4 discs with 6 episodes each.

Episode 2:
Lacia really looks human this week with her personality and role. The OP song is alright (fits for this show) by the theme of it. (very sci-fi flicky with the action elements) I think this episode is still trying to build more into the relationship between Arato and Lacia. Lacia also looked really good with her clothes this episode, like a fashion model almost. I'm guessing the pacing will pick up soon.

A lot, like a sister series, when Clockwork was pretty action and more science fantasy, this is more soft but still more grounded Sci Fi, the concept of the robots and how can do social engineering in us was incredible.
I was he only one who was waiting the Modeling session to be ruinned in a battle? What are Endo Friends doing? something illegal? for a moment i thought Endo green haired glass friend would get his own Hie too... Amazing chapter, the worldbuilding was so incredible. |

Judging by the first episode Lacia and her "sisters" made a coordinated escape and I assume did not want to be in that facility. So now I don't understand why Lacia is making her existence so public if it would alert those people as to her whereabouts.

Q. If you were wanted (on the run) but untouchable (for whatever reason) how would you spend your time? If you could handle anything and everything would you hide away?
