That's not the only anachronism. "Card Master Sakura" is mentioned, and while the name has been slightly changed it is a clear reference to an anime that had yet to be conceived ^^;

She dresses up as Maria from Touhou and then sings "Tsurupettan" which is a song from "Touhou" (it's more like fan sung I think)means something like flat chested, DFC or something akin. The scene is told in the novel from Kanon's point of view, who is there and acts for the time being as her boyfriend.
