So I conclude the main issues at the moment are dumb threads and spoilers. There's nothing much we can do to prevent the first but we'll severely enforce the rules for the latter from now on.
Thanks to all of you who gave feedback. On a different topic, please note that the rules have been revised and simplified.

But yeah, enforced rules = less annoying people. I love speaking to people who actually has something to say worthwhile, worth hanging around for. |

While chatting shit to the more serious members is all good, laughing at the crazy members is even better.
Especially when they really believe in them selves! Oh that just makes it all the more fun.

What if its used in a "what a character would never say" Thread? Since most of the stuff contains manga related material but does it a non-literal sense, like if its used in a joke and only like 20% of it is a fact, how does the rule affect there? Because it would be a real shame for a member to get a partial ban for joking around in a joke thread.

Reading the updated rules, especially the one saying that all threads are [Anime] threads if they aren't tagged as [Manga] or [Spoilers], I wondered if you are still considering splitting up the Naruto Forum in an Anime and Manga part. This is a sure way to decrease spoiling of the Anime viewers.

I have a question. Wasn't Spoilers = Ban, always a rule? I guess it just wasn't implemented by us enough...
Also, concerning spoilers....do you people REALLY have to quote the person spoiling? I mean, you're just spreading the spoilers around then, and I really hate editing a person's post when they do that especially if there's 5 or 6 of people quoting at the same time. |

on another note. Something that irritates me to no end is when the new anime episode thread is launched replies like this occur: DAMN THAT EPISODE WAS GREAT, I LOVE IT Spoiler:
newsflash: Nobody cares! You're not adding anything to the thread by putting what you'd like to see in a spoiler tag. And I know for a fact that most people do that just to show that they are cool for they are reading the manga. It's annoying for animewatchers to see all those spoiler tags, especially since they didn't ask for it in the first place. and we all know that sometime spoilers tend to "fall" out of the spoilerbox even If you want to do it discretely. Solution: just DONT There are tons of threads which are manga only and you have all the space to tell what you would like to see. This may be a bit harsh, but I KNOW it's annoying.

Just don't quote spoilers or pay attention to it. Just that simple. |

Umm, what about threads that are targeted at manga readers (i.e. questions that cannot be answered by an anime viewer) since we are not allowed to use spoilers or spoiler tags in any non-[Manga] or non-[Spoilers] thread respectively? I really doubt that people will PM a Mod to change their thread titles into [Manga] even if told so by us; the solution could be that we (as manga readers) PM a Mod to change the thread title, but I'd think that will be annoying for the Mods.
