Maybe something; like carrying stuff (strength), builder job (balance), etc. keep in mind that it's only cover physical training, not technique.

@ Eras
The fangirls do that out of pure respect, while the fanboys is zealots knight templar (most, if not all of them realize their mistakes though)

As you can see, they're the deconstruction of determinator. You really don't expect bullied scrawny geeks gaining enough guts to escape their horrible fate, they did, but the result are still bad enough from certain perspective (Collapsed mid training, inability to cope with new body, traumatized after first defeat, overtly brutal, horribly injured etc). In Ichika's words "How many kind hearted boys I've turned into monsters of a man?"

No, remember Ichika ain't much better himself. The 'courage' he injected is what makes them that, if not for Ichika's 'motivation', they'll stay just like that.

They saw Ichika as savior with overwhelming force, but Ichika himself is corrupted with that power, and flared them to develop power themselves, spreading the corruption in process.

As example, he managed to infect entire Student council, disciplinary committee included, and literally become the most powerful gang in the school... without teacher knowing

Bear in mind, who are the bullies in question? The smaller, less powerful gang of course, and Ichika & the gang managed to steamroll them swiftly and violently... as the result, there's no bullying (at least not in the surface), but the tension continues and the Student Council is no different than a tyrannical reign.

I myself felt this like an asspull somewhat...

Possible, considering he was taught martial arts when he was still a kid (something about power pawnch I believe, either Karate or boxing)

@ Senpai - He's nowhere near that charismatic, so he's mostly a figurehead because of his actions.

@ Demi - Possible. When he was a kid, he probably had no regular fighting style and just did street fighting.

Nope, no wangst.

The closest thing he had to angst is when the thugs he faced in latest chapter is his old enemies, and of course, has certain resentment to him.

Their rash action caused the little demon buried within Ichika and Dan to resurface again, oh, and Rin too... the aftermath had the gang of thugs captured by police, Ichika & friends being interrogated but otherwise untouched (and the incident was kept secret), causing Ichika to talk mellow about his Karma Houdini status. Chifuyu snap him out of it though.
