It's the album where music comes on. Just picked it up yesterday from the shipping company. There's also a pretty cool remix of The IDOLM@STER Mix as the first track. Overall it's a great album. If anyone is looking for one album to get most of the best tracks this is a good choice.

That Festival of Winter has some pretty kickass performances so far and while that one is visually impressive I don't think that the song is up to par. Personally I think that the m@ster version of the song (duet with Asami Imai instead) works a lot better.

The IDOLM@STER Has New Idol-Producing PS3 Game in Production

"The IDOLM@STER contents and home app" will feature a "Shiny TV" segment, which will allow players to play a PlayStation 3 version of The IDOLM@STER Shiny Festa rhythm games in high-definition. When the channel is downloaded, a new song titled “We Have a Dream” (as performed by the 765PRO ALLSTARS) will be available to play in the rhythm game for free.

The rest of the songs and characters will be released in 12 mini albums, which will be available for purchase for 1,500 yen (about US$15) each. New songs will be included in some of the mini albums. A new, revamped challenge mode will also be added that allows the idols to become television program hosts. The player's performance affects the television audience's reactions.

Another portion of the app is The IDOLM@STER: Gravure For You! photographing mini-games that were included in each of The IDOLM@STER anime's limited-edition Blu-ray Discs. A Trial Edition of the mini-games' first volume is available for free. The full version of Vol. 1 will cost 300 yen (US$3) and will let you photograph all 13 idols. Nine volumes will eventually be available.

So no only do the japanese get a new Shiny Festa version with new songs, they get it for the PS3 while we are stuck with the crappy iOS version. BAH!
