I wasn't too excited about White Fox before and I wasn't really looking forward to the series, but I just read the first three chapters of the manga and it's actually pretty funny! I definitely give it a try once it comes out. Hopefully it can keep a consistent level of comedy.

What I liked the most about the PV was the characters designs/expressions and the music, oddly enough. Seems like it could be pretty funny, so I'll give this series a shot.

Don't judge such pics like that, fujoshi. As I said on Gargantia thread, just because they show some females on a guy doesn't always make it harem. Heck, I'm even currently watching GJ-bu this season and I don't call it harem due to the lack of romance despite having a lot of females, just some friendship. When I first see some images from Maou-sama!, I'm not really thinking of it as harem but rather a straightforward comedy.

What's with the "fujoshi," hmm?
I'll check out the show because the setting sounds fun and it has Oosaka Ryouta, but that picture above seems like the usual "osananajimi/girl next door + tsundere girl + hapless guy" setup and if the show wants to go in that direction I'd rather know about it beforehand. To, you know, adjust my expectations. |

So the Hero will at least end up as his eventual ally. Or they kill each other (just to screw with the audience).

PV doesn't look too bad. The backgrounds are really detailed, the characters are fun to look, awesome aesthetics compelled by great visuals. I thought it would have some action at first, but after watching every PV from this series, it seems the main character wouldn't just work for the part-time job, it seems he's really looking behind the past and his encounter with the crimson-haired swordgirl prove to be a fated one. Will most likely watch the first episode to see good things about it.
