I get that much. But some times animes tend to have some realism to it, if you pay close attention. Other than the fanservice.

Truth be told, I almost dropped Season 1 because of the Fanservice. But what made up for it was the storyline in the late episodes.

I'm wondering on when it'll air and if Funimation will license it for North American release.

And about what you said with "Pride of the 3rd years"... I don't think it has anything to do with "Pride".

The 3rd years are more experienced and have more knowledge than the 1st and 2nd years. It's like a chain of command; with the 3rd years being higher up.

If things go wrong in the chain, example, if the 3rd years let those lower than them on the chain get out of control and do nothing, the whole chain will collapse.

They're just trying to keep the 1st and 2nd years in line.

You should read the early chapters of the manga or anime again. Those seniors seriously wanted to kill Stella and her genki friend, their juniors, just because they feel offended. What kind of “maintaining the chain of command” is that? Not to mention that each one of these Pandoras are a very valuable asset. Sometimes, we just have to admit that those senior Pandoras really act like stuck-up bitches. Worse, they have the power of a thousand armies. So yes, I think it's very much 80% about pride. And that's just one example.

Shouldn’t it be more helpful if the seniors act more friendly and supporting to their juniors to give them boost in morals and strengthen their bonds in this difficult times? It will prove very useful especially during actual combat with the NOVAs when shit actually hits the fan.

This would not have been an issue if they're not students in the first place.... screw the author for making very hot sexy, de virginized students in fighting for the worlds sake... while soldiers are so dumb...

If these was in a military setting.. we could expect discipline among the ranks...

Neh, even though I liked some of the female cast, the overall situations and annoying male lead just annoyed me to no end in the first season. I might skip this one till it's halway through and then check it out.

keep in mind that most of the pandoras are from rich wealthy family whos only doing this for their family name sake. so ofcourse they all will be spoil brats who think the world evole around them.

By the way, I don't think I expressed my surprise here, that Freezing gets an animated sequel. It was an enjoyable watch (particularly the Satellizer flashback), the action could use of course more gore and less censoring, plus listening to Mamiko and Kana returning to those roles... ah, fan-orgasm

It had not a bad sales. Around 6k average and A.C.G.T. don't have anything better to make now so it was guaranteed.
