As long as it doesn't include a chamber with a Pandorica (and a damaged
Cyberman) in it .....

(Dr. Who reference.)

A service technician caught peeing in a customer's coffee mug in 2012 is no longer a candidate for the Conservative Party of Canada.

"This must be someone who's adept at Stephen Harper's trickle-down theory of economics." -New Democratic Party Leader Tom Mulcair

Wtf man...

Now It will take a while for me to trust having any stranger in my place without me around... I means I thought as long as I don't leave valuable things around, there won't be anything to worry about....

You mean you don't consider your coffee mug, which holds your coffee, which you will put inside your body, to be a valuable thing?

French writer Chateaubriand stirs row from beyond the tomb

Basically a lawyer is trying to sell an original manuscript by a famous author and is sued by a distant relative of the author for ownership of the manuscript. Except the lawyer's wife is also a distant relative of the author.

How Did It Take This Long for the Worst-Ever Kitchen Nightmare to Close?

I'm surprise they lasted this long despite how horrible they are.

Australia just had its leader changed after 24 hours of internal disagreement.
I don't think it is worth its own thread because we all are not surprised that it happened. Get lost Tony, and no, you don't get to keep your PM pension because you missed it by 4 days. No one will miss you. You tried to turn Australia into GOP America and I will never forgive you for it.

^Well it's about time. His foot in mouth habit has not earned him respect from his countrymen and is mocked internationally including by Last Week Tonight.

So here's the current leader of the opposition in the UK....

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...s-Tory-MP.html

We've just had a election, so I'm hoping they get a credible candidate by the time the next one is due, because I'm pretty sure most people, regardless of there political views, realise having a army of some sort is not really optional.

"Wouldn’t it be wonderful if every politician around the world...abolished their army"

No, he is not calling for the abolishment of our military alone. Stop believing in blatantly deliberate context obfuscating journalism.

The thing you have to understand is that the Daily Mail is full of shit. An alleged 'newspaper' with the company view that time should have stopped in about 1953.

The whole Tory and Murdoch press are absolutely terrified that there's an actual opposition now and will do anything to smear the new Labour party leader. They'd be doing the same whoever had won.
On top of that, the Prime Minister is discussing the leader of Her Majesty's Opposition with the same rhetoric he uses for ISIS. They're running scared.

The article left something quite important out:

The girl, an eighth grader, told police that the suspect, also an eighth grader, "grabbed her by her shirt near her stomach, pulled her toward him and 'open-mouth kissed her with his tongue,'" police said.

The article makes you think it was just a harmless little kiss, when in reality, this probably would be what we think of when we hear about sexual assault.

Teen Accidentally Shoots Himself In Leg For Second Time In 3 Months

If he does it again, i'll bet they just ban him from ever using guns.

As cool as it looks, the rule of thumb is always finger outside the trigger guard.

Even with blanks, the most frequent case of accidental discharge I know of is the nut puts his finger on the trigger when not firing.

The urge to pull it is real. That is why it is called trigger discipline.

Japanese kids becoming less skilled at starting fires, not getting covered with mud, survey shows

Hmm…an uptick in kids getting covered with mud because they played outside, and a drop in the number that can strike a match and light a fire. Maybe Japanese kids aren’t becoming less self-sufficient, but just clumsier.

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.
