About the girl, maybe it's just me being paranoid after reading too much manga where the smallest details mean a lot, but the knife she pulled out when she faced the said anti-skill guy had a pentacle lookalike symbol drawn on it (magic side?).

your not the only one. the knife indeed looks like a spiritual item. it has the rune alike type of blade to it. the ceremonial type because it doesn't look like your typical survival knife or butterfly knife or dagger for that matter.

maybe this is a sign that the Accelerator manga is causing a distortion in our reality, and that's just the beginning.

The manga shows how Styil's students freeze Index's mouth and captured Alisa and how Touma contacted Komoe.

Read the last chapters, it seems the manga has some leeway to add some comedic parts here and there and some extended scenes.

For example.

In the movie we got Index being found by Kongo and co after Arisa is kidnapped.
In the manga we got to see how one of the mages disguises as a waitress, freezes Index and tie her up, then her companions kidnaps Arisa.

Maybe in this manga we will get some lights on what happened with Shoutaura after she merged in the space and not in some interviews on the author which I can't read at the moment the movie ends.
