Anyway

The 'Eldritch' in question wasn't really an Eldritch, but instead, a living artifact of a Civilization, stranded on the surface of moon until shuttle crews arrived, and the artifact began it's recovery process and escape to Mars or beyond 30 years prior to the story (it's presence was hidden by government).

And the Artifact just happen to have similar signature as an I.S. albeit much more powerful and extremely genocidal, this would be an indication that someone, somewhere in the galaxy or beyond already reached I.S. level of technology and undergo Technological Singularity...

The battle will be mostly philosophical, and with the bittersweet note that Human WILL destroy themselves sooner or later, even if hey survive onslaught from almighty alien force.

While bittersweet, mine still would be optimistic and lighthearted (few people died, maybe every single protagonist survives), and the main theme is still romance between Ichika and Madoka, so nothing really changed.

Mine basically goes from: Dark and broken protagonists who nearly die achieving even a minor change to Serious story with Rom-Com and a happy ending for everyone.......I feel like this is somebody else's fault.
