I knew I recognized that term from something, in regards to the Kanon/Will ending. But is it a reference to SotN, or some obscure fairy tell / legend / mythology or something? |

Quick Guide for Willard's Special Attacks:
236X Willard horizontally swipes his sword, creating a short tornado-like projectile in front of him. -Moves further depending on the button used. A version won't move him. -Can erase opponent's projectiles SP Version: Beasty move. Can even combo off of Throws and Meta Super. ...641236C 236AB 641236C is possible. -Fast startup, 5A/2A>236AB works. -Launches straight up in juggle state. Can easily be cancelled into Meta-Super. 623X Willard quickly jumps, almost becoming invisible, and performs a spinning slash around himself before landing. -Button strength determines travelling distance and angle. -Invincible during starting frames. Can be used as a reversal to escape pressure. -Can get through projectiles. -Can't normally combo into anything afterwards. SP Cancel required for comboability. SP Version: -Freezes time at activation. -Can lose to starting attacks if timed incorrectly. -Doesn't hit in the same frame as the time freeze. 214X Will enters in a "Batou" stance and after some time, at seemgly lighting speed, slashes. -Long startup -Can be "charged" (button held) for increased range, but only until the last moment. -Button determines slash direction. A = a high-strike, B = Horizontal slash, C= Low Slash -As soon the button is released, the slash comes out immediately. 0/1 frame startup. As long you react properly, this move will beat or trade hits against most attacks. SP Version: 7-hit consecutive slashes. -Same properties as regular version. Knocks down grounded opponents. -Won't full combo off aerial hits. 236236C Willard, again, enters in a "Batou" stance and quickly dashes towards the opponent. If it connects, the background darkens at the same time Willard passes through slashing the opponent, and finally sheathes his sword, cutting him down. -Can be delayed by holding "C" -Not invicible, but very fast. Can intercept some projectiles during their startup. -2C, 6C, 5C, 236236C works. -High min. damage 22AB A break-dance like roll. -Invincible startup. -Good for extending combos. -Freezes time 641236C Willard gets ready to kick some ass and darts in many directions like a Stake Bro. -If blocked or whiffed, Willard will fall midscreen after bouncing off 7 times. -Slow startup -6C > Meta Super -236AB > Meta Super ==================== ------------------- ====================

You should probably mention that the super will trigger if any of these bounces connect. I was surprised that I used this super, missed because of bad timing after 6C, and at the third bounce I connected to the opponent, triggering the attack and making them bounce. I find it surprising that it's a OTG move too.

And Xpiova, who creates combos making even the Japanese green with envy,

I never thought Will could be that scary. It's been around a day and a half and there's some nasty combos for him already.
Has anyone found a use for his 2SP rolling move yet, by the way? I saw it in the last video, but that could be subbed for a Dash Cancel and wasn't really needed.
