I'm sure that, if he were inclined to believe it, he could see that Jun is a girl, especially when she was naked for a short time there in the bath. I think he's selectively ignoring some things, though, simply because he wants a friend.

I think he knows something is wrong, and that's why he gets so physical with Jun. He just hasn't figured it out consciously yet. Hajime is a numbskull in the way all 13 year-old boys are - clueless about girls and about his own feelings. But he's actually pretty clever in the larger sense - he figured out a lot of stuff about Arashi on his own, and he's a bit of a science whiz.

Younger boys tend to have more energy and be high spirited while girls question things and are more mature. Ah the adolescent times really. It's pretty much the core of the story of the anime as of now since we're not yet focused on the summer "GHOST" girls.

First two episodes are not that bad, so far.

Today's episode was all sorts of beautiful.

Another day, another major event of the past woven through a stable time loop. I also liked that of all the people Yayoi could be compatible with to time travel, it turns out to be the dog. I wonder what the dog things about being displaced in time so often.

I just love the amount of male character's who're voiced by Sugita Tomokazu in this show.

Nice episode. Especially loved the second half.

Sigh - another superb 22 minutes for 2009's most under appreciated masterpiece.

We see the return of the pre-OP/post-ED animation from last year. A hilarious ET parody. More fantastic against-type voice work from Horie Yui. And running counter to eps 1-2, Yasaka/Arashi development. But the look on Jun's face at the end spoke volumes.

It's the classic "boy/reverse trap/ghost" love triangle - we've seen it a thousand times before...

Jun is just flat-out, dare I say it, moe. She's the living embodiment of the teenage angst of being uncomfortable in your own skin, taken to a comic level. She's a great match for Hajime who, OTOH, is completely un-self-conscious.

Regardless, I went through Youtube and listened to old japanese songs which were covered in NnA! I must say, most originals are better. Yui Horie simply failed on "Ihoujin". Chiaki Omigawa's "Katte ni Shiagare" on other hand, is awesome.

But in 2nd season you hear that the spirits are going to disappear once summer is going. Somehow giving me the feeling its going to be a sad ending T.T..... just memories

Pretty much another great "UNDERRATED" and funny episode, another development on Yasaka and Arashi and knowing Takeshi a bit better more in this episode since Yayoi needs another person to get her energy from, though it was not Takeshi, but his dog.
Glad they shifted more on that scene for later.

Who would have thought under that blockhead, hotblooded attitude Yasaka was a science NERD all along. Seeing Arashi naked in the bath I think was one of the keys that he fell for her after the hug,

It's still not in order, or more like manga chapters been mixed, but still follows the manga. Iam starting to hate the salt obsessed guy.

Well, that was enjoyable.
Today's episode finally made a couple of references I can recognize.

Eureka Seven. Hajime and Renton have the same VA, a joke was made refering to Skyfish, creatures from Eureka.

Yayoi and Kanako's food wordplay introduced last episode is coupled by a comeback of anime-reference after ending, I was missing those.

Sailor Moon. Maybe some similarities between Arashi S2 ending and famed Sailor Moon Opening aren't coincidential.

Episode four was very good. Adorable Kaya, and a Eureka Seven reference that had me laughing my socks off. Jun's Sister is like icing on the cake in this episode.
