Having not assembled one before myself I was wondering if they come with paint? Or what things will I need to buy to go with it and are they difficult?

I'm pretty confused.

btw. wow... those dollfies look so awesome! much better than the pullips. Unfortunately I think they're all I could afford though XD
If your friend is good at painting, and used to working with models, then yes.
But understand that if they make the slightest mistake, it's basically ruined.
Personally, I wouldn't recommend it.

Thanks for your help!
She's an artist so I think it should be alright =D

Just very curious about the paint though- I take it an airbrush would get the best results?

Yup its not a 1/1 scale model....but it is one of the largest 'FIGURINE'....look at the Suigintou sitting on the cross beside that. Its manufactured by Volks...
and one of the thing that comes with it is that Suigintou face is changable.

Here i'll post some link and u people can have a look b4 anyone accuse me of being Secretive again

Suigintou Shinku Suiseiseki Souseiseki
Soon as I saw that I ordered them all! Anyone know if they are doing the others?

Spoiler for Guess:

I wish more company would pick up her....
I got the Gin-sama on the left too...
the only problem is, she can't stand on her own feet.
She stands for a while, minutes or a few hours, then her ankles bend and she trips on her back or even worse, face to the floor.

Looks like it's total faithful to Ouverture....

heh heh, I have been lurking for a while now, figures would share some stuff.

Some of the models I assembled and painted, not perfect and not the best out there
but thought I would share.

seki-chan is still under construction and hasnt got her finishing and final touches yet. her watering can is still unpainted, once done she wont be as glossy....

I'm looking to get or create a Suigintou costume for my daughter for this year's ACEN. She's only a year old, so it's gonna need to be little, but seeing a little Gin toddling around will be awesome.

Any ideas on how I should start looking?

well, if there is a master dollmaker in your city, probably you can custom-order one to him/her...
If you provide pictures and description, a skilled dollmaker should be able to craft one for you.
Of course it's gonna be really expensive
