Kikakuya is a group of writers. You can assume that when they list Kikakuya as writer it means they all had a part in shaping up the scenario, brain storming and such.

What can I say, there is barely any story at all. There is no save slot, the whole game is like one giant sandbox. You keep unlocking new areas and with it new girls to 'befriend', which also acts as your weapon equips. And for the most part they don't interact with each other. There is no gameover and you can replay every and all events to grind if you want as well.

Pretty much all the girls are AI copies of their original and they all come from different parallel universes and from different time periods. Through each of the different heroines you learn about the details of the Baldr world and their complete history.

I haven't finished but I have a feeling this format makes sense to end the franchise with. I'm guessing it will re-convey the core theme and values of the series as a whole in the end, but very softly. It will be a quiet but meaningful end to the series. "It ends with a flicker, not a bang".

Or that could be just my brain making sense of this not-so-stellar game

No no, I don't mind if it's pure Simulacrum battles.....but shouldn't such a thing require save slots all the more?

What I mean by no save slot is there is no manual save slot where you can save in different points of the game like your usual vn. From the start, there is only one save and it auto-saves your progress. Like I said, it's a huge sandbox game.

Well, guess that explains where all the budget (and writer, and future direction) went. Rejoice on the fact that it's also for browser, since that means your phones won't have to take on extra load

gameplay seems similar to Heart's.

Apparently, I hear DMM games need VPN to play if you are non-JP.....is this true? Pretty risky to kaikin on such a game if true, since your VPN may fail one day...

Only the all-ages side is region-locked. I could play their games on the 18+ side perfectly fine in NA.

The pre-registration went up two weeks ago and is still ongoing.

It's also a browser game which is both all-ages and 18+. The Android version is probably all-ages though, but DMM has an Android app for their games. Don't use an Android so I'm not the best person to ask for the details on that app.
