One of my favorite scenes finally got animated. Yuuki Aoi was spetacular as Suzu this time. Really loved her choice in this casting. There wasn't any censor this time, so yeah, that scene was really "perfect".

Besides that we finally have some jokes here and there (Muneshige lol), the minimum necessary of explanation and the most important Asama‘s ero-essay wasn't cut! This was something that surprised me this time. And it looks the main event on that essay only started on the third page... Damn it.

It looks like they're finally getting the best balance between serious and gag scenes as time passes, so I'm really wktk for the next episodes

I'm still a bit apprehensive with how they handled Futayo. I thought she would be pushing a bit harder than what was shown. Felt they should've animated so that she flew toward Gin at least as fast as she was rushing Sakai back episode 3.

Speaking Sakai, I totally forgot about the scene where he grabbed both ship captains. Stupid old men get all the luck in this series ... so far. Given the gag scenes, it's always a delicate balance between seriousness and joke. I think they could switch some BGMs around, and push the hopelessness of the situation a bit more, but I still think it worked out decently at the end.

As expected, the lack of characterization by expositions has to be carried by the VA's ability. I'm glad we do have an all-star team here for that. But ... stupid Toori, give me back my tears lol.

What a great episode!!! (even when i cannot understood much of what have been said). The character development so far is really paying off now, Im realy enjoying the different fronts or points of attention, with Horizon being held captive, Sakai facing unexpected visitors from KPA Italia, Futayo and her warrior duties, Masazumi always serious and anticipating the worst from things to come, and finally, our starring classroom of weirdos in command of over the top sensei. Shes not only strong, but clever in the way she picks on her pupils.

he is not a heartless idiot

Good to know about that. Well, its not like I had loose my faith in him.
(I still watch anime even if Im concern with everyday life issues so I wont blame him). Off course is not "everyday issue" for Toori...
After all, we saw him pale and trembling going through Remorse Way, and we know he has been down from childhood trauma, right? And it was all Horizon-related. So this would be like loosing her for a second time.

Not, this guy has already decided what he s going to do, he is just not telling it yet...

The sudden dark horse of the episode goes to Suzu, her backstory was good but what really sold that scene was when she broke down near the end after hearing Asama reiterating her essay- and to nail that moment she let Toori touch her chest (And apparently Toori could tell that she has grown bigger).

What a good girl...

I guess when the breast groping is voluntary, there's no censorship

P.S - I love strategy meeting, but I'm gonna have to wait till Wednesday to know what exactly they're saying... All I caught was something about trying to bring Masazumi to their cause.

Today, at an unspecified time, Toori set off from his house, going to Tama, he should have went to the Blue Thunder, which is rather far away. Toori is living with an 18-year old, weird...yes, weird sister. This sister is, well, not important. No, well, she isn't good, though.

Anyways, the time of confession had drawn near. Because of that, to consult with the method and techniques of confessing, he held a meeting on top of the bridge. First, he asked about the ninja's past failiures, and then he fondled the knight's breasts and was blown away. Eeh, blown away. (丁寧語)

Toori had a childhood friend. It was Tenzou.

I started tearing up when suzu started to cry, but then I was saved from breaking down when Toori returned to his usual self. I definitely agree with the fact that this episode had a great balance of comedy, emotional scenes, and serious talk. That's something that's a bit hard for a lot of animes to pull off, and with this I didn't feel any awkwardness. I'm looking forward to next week's episode!

They didn't put the flashback about Asama's first Valentine and about the chocolate she made for Toori.

And Suzu's essay was as good as the novel's version

Suzu was just way too cute this episode, just about killed me.

Other than that not much to talk about since it's back to sort of a beginning level feel building back up to a second big event.
