In my opinion, continuing Genshiken past volume 9 was worth it just because of that lovely Madarame/Kasukabe conversation. I thought his "confession" and the end of the campus festival arc would have been a perfect stopping point for this season, but since there are still two episodes left, I wonder what the ending will be like.
Even if it sold well (which I guess it didn't due to its lack of accessibility to people who didn't watch the previous seasons, not to mention the questionable decision to skip two manga volumes and replace all voice actors), it would take over a year for the manga to accumulate enough chapters for another anime season. Nidaime's first 11 episodes covered 25 chapters, and now the anime is only 11 chapters behind the manga. Last edited by Uribatake; 2013-09-15 at 09:43. Reason: accuracy |

End of the Saki x mada chapter & the beginning of the madarame harem chapter so what are the betting odds for mada x sue, mada x Angela, made x hato and mada x keiko? They covered quite a bit of content this episode, I'd have to double check the manga but I think they adapted 2 chapters in the first half and dedicated one chapter to the confession in the second half. In the manga when Saki was putting together madarame's harem, there were massive panels (about half a page) for Angela, sue and hato but keiko got a tiny panel about one twentieth of the size but they didn't implement that in the anime so... I'm not sure whether I should be disappointed or intrigued why they did that? In manga the made it look like she was the left over or the throw away chance but in the anime she looks like a contender. I hope they adapt the omake chapters, especially if they intend to end the season before with the school festival arc. That's just more content they can use.

Tbh I didn't like how Hato is soo interested in Mada love life. Not even sure why he got upset with Angela. Seeing how she had a thing for him. Back in Season 3 Mada pretty much knew he wouldn't stand a chance in having Saki fall in love with him and accpeted that given how he didn't want to ruin his relationship with her and moved on. Still at least in the end he was able to confess his love to her even if it wasn't much of a confesstion. Hopfully he will find someone that would love him as he is a nice guy.
