Well, after watching the PV, I just hope that they won't try to include too much of the novel's contents in the anime or add too much anime original content, since both of those things will have a negative impact on this adaptation's success.

Well, from what I have seen in the PV, they might try to include all the Academy girls, that are in Kamito's harem, in the anime + Est and Restia , which means that, at least, that the first two volumes are going to be adapted into the anime...

ha didn't we actually get into a massive discussion on what would happen if blade dance got an anime about 50 pages ago or so. This has a potential to be incredible key word potential because they have to do certain things very well. If they are smart its 2-cour up to the blade dance. U cannot start the blade dance immediately a split cour with the first one ending with the blade dance is another good idea.

the blade dance arc is long though..

I know but unless they make it continuous like naruto bleach and one piece they should separate the blade dance from the normal stuff.

Thanks, but now i have mixed feeling about this, with the way they are inroduced, the adaptions is likely to covered 3 vols and while Claire is just another girl, Est seem special in that PV. I just hope they don't change the story as they wish like Campione and Itsuten(damn it, my itsuten).

Nah Restia is pretty dead. For now anyway. She got stabbed to death by Est.

We'll have to see what ressurrection mechanism the author comes up with this time. I refuse to believe he'd kill off popularity no.1 character in an act of self sacrifice.

I'm finally done reading too.

If you read the author's comments he remarks that the next section of the novel is going to be the last section that was planned, so the story will end after the next arc. Things are going to heat up as well he says.

So gogogo, needs more Restia.

Well the revaluations made in this volume, as spoiled do explain a lot of things. They also do help explain why Rubia acted like she did, and said they were insane. They are insane because they are missing their consciousness.

Well the last arc of the story can easily take up quite a few volumes though. The first intro arc took up 3 volumes(would make for a good first season). The next arc took up another 4 volumes, the first part of the blade dance. The second arc of the blade dance took up another 4 volumes. So I expect the next arc to take up 4-6 volumes depending on the author's pacing.

In retrospect Rubia's actions are not quite as monstrous, however they are guided by incomplete information, and the judgement of a very young teenager, so she was manipulated and acted impulsively.

Since, the novels recently got an anime adaptation I don't see it ending anytime soon, if I have to guess, I would say that we will get about 6 more volumes, maybe more if the anime adaptation is going to be pretty successful.

As for the thing with Restia, you're info has made some pretty clear hints on what is going to be the main objective for Kamito in the next few volumes ... at least for me, so thanks for the info

Spoiler for Story: The Darkness is an otherworldly being, neither from the material world or Astral Zero. Kamito at the end caught a glimpse of what Rubia saw last time when he was losing control to the Demon King within. Apparently within that Darkness, are countless of armies of "Angels" and that if those armies pour into the world, it will end. Restia, other than freeing the Elemental Lords, was plotting all the while to free Kamito from the Demon King within him, since she herself was born from Ren Ashdoll, is something like a clone and has his/her conciousness inside her. Hence her true name, Restia Ashdoll. That little miko that Rinslet encountered is indeed the Water Elemental Lord, Iseria Seaward. Though she recovered her memories thanks to Fianna, she is not at full power and is unable to perform high level spells since she is separated to her true body. And man, Restia's reaction when she heard that Iseria can be summoned almost immediately via pancakes, when normally, ceremonies taking days are involved. 3 years ago, Kamito was able to free Iseria's conscious from the darkness. This time they tried to do the same, though they aim to free the Fire Lord, Volcanica due to their limits. Not sure whether they succeed, as Kamito was overtaken by the Demon king within and no audio cue at all, unlike Iseria' case where she muttered "Thank you" Restia eating Rinslet's pancakes is cute; upon the first bite, she lost control and finish everything quickly lol. Fernir is recovered from Kajhn when Kamito used Est to break the seal binding and corrupting Fernir. __________________ Standing Strong
