@ Botan_TM
I can see your points. But in a good way, Char's way of dealing with the situation did help calm Hasuki down once she said "as her friend." "So far Persia do nothing to defend their relationships, I mean literally, she luckily avoided any dangerous situation, and that's a lot in those conditions." Pretty much. One thing even as a manga reader I did not feel the author did not do a good job enough is the screen time for the white cats as an overall group compared the black doggies. There are only a few white cats that gets a lot of attention but the focus is more geared towards Inazuka and the black doggies as a group. In some ways, it feels more like story is about Inazuka as the MC and his crazy mutt gang rather than the story being dual MCs about the mutt gang and the pussy troupe.

Not like she had a sword with her. Or a sword shoe like Char. Plus she was pretty much handicapped from the start with the injury on her feet. Plus I reaaaaaaally doubt Hazuki would have even spend a second to listen to the words of a white cat girl, much less the girl who "stole" her beloved from her.

The point is that she didn’t take action at all, even when Hasuki took a headshot at Inuzuka with a sword. At that point, you need to get desperate and try a tackle or something, not stand and watch as your boyfriend takes a sword to the face. Whether or not it would work wouldn’t stop Inuzuka from trying to make a difference. Yeah, as Frontier said she was basically the Damsel in Distress instead of actually doing anything. That’s what really irks me, and is the whole basis of my worries about Persia being along for the ride while it’s Inuzuka who risks life and limb and even reputation for their relationship. This should be a team thing, and it’s hard to take someone seriously when they’re just observing and not participating. Plus, it doesn’t help that Persia randomly fell off a cliff in the middle of this mess.......Damsel in Distress indeed. Yeesh. -_-

Episode 5
Hahaha, Char trolled Romio as usual. I swear, he and Scott can never get along. Oh well. For a basket of bento, I think Romio took that fight a bit far... Aby and Somali debuted this episode and I find them ....weird. Looks like we got a rivalry between him and Romio already. I'm rooting for Romio though. Next episode should be entertaining with the actual festival competition.

Ofc our Inuzuka is far more innocent than our Percia. He's talking about lunchboxes and she thinks he is talking about "it". And when he is mumbling about how Percia will do anything he says, she gets worried he gonna ask something weird but we can all guess it gonna be something harmless yet again. Poor Scott is so unimportant he dosn't even get a proper flashback before a tree finishes him and he ends as Char's plaything for the day. xD
But man, Percia's cooking must be really horrible if even the lovestruck Inuzuka would yell out the truth each time he ate a cookie from hell. So here we got the "White Cat Maru", basically a bishie with a girl fanclub with a dumb but superstrong "girlfriend". I guess he also planned some cheats for this sport festival just like Maru and his gang. Inuzuka and Percia training 3-leg racing was adorable. Too much stimulation for Inuzuka, that screaming in bed was great. xD Since only one can be MVP and Percia wants to become MVP to prove her countrymen and ofc her own father that she can do anything a male heir could do as well means Inuzuka will lose to her in the festival. Because no matter how much he wants to have a free wish her happiness is more important to him than his own desires. Only question is if he will be seen as another traitor again like last year or if it will be something more heroic.

Watched episode 5:
Funny when they were fighting for the bento. Scott is a bit strong when he's serious, but still can't even protect the bento. Char is awesome as always. Hasuki suddenly has hopes to dance with person she likes Good thing no one saw Persia practicing the 3 legged race with Inuzuka. -- looking forward to next week! ^^

Not bad, they actually hyped this tournament enough that there's a feel of the stakes and excitement.
Poor Juliet got injured. I think she shouldn't of pushed herself too hard in the first place. At least she's got others like Char and Romio who cares about her. However, Aby and his true nature is really to be blame there. Pretty intense competitive energy this week. It goes to show how dedicated everyone is to become MVP.

I love how Romio's idea for what he plans to make Juliet do once he makes MVP is have her call him by his first name. Inuzuka is such a maiden at heart .
Not that I deny the Black Doggies have some cute girls (other then Hasuki), but it was kind of noticeable that the White Cats had all main characters as cheerleaders while the Black Doggies only had Hasuki and some no-name girls. Makes me wonder when the twin lollies are going to pop up . I have to wonder how Juliet was imagining introducing Romio to her mother in the future. "Mother, this is my secret boyfriend Inuzuka! He's from those crass and barbaric Black Doggies and makes me dress up as a boy sometimes" . I feel like Juliet and Hasuki going head-to-head was something that kind of needed to happen. I mean, they're from rival sides and are rivals in love, and I doubt Hasuki has really sorted out exactly how she feels about Persia, so I think they both kind of needed a match against one another. Not that I think they were prepared for how it would end up . "It's not sexual harassment during a match!" Nice save Scott, nice save . I wasn't expecting Aby to have a bit of a tragic backstory of both him and Somali being bullied when they were younger. I mean, he's still a tool, but it's nice that there's more to him then just being a tool. I'm guessing he and Somali were each other's only friends back then, which is probably why Somali is so dedicated to Aby despite how he treats and uses her. Not that she doesn't give him a good pounding if he pays attention to other girls . Romio and Maru finally working together for once was a fun sight, and amusing considering they both were motivated by the same person even if they have different genders in mind . Romio challenging Juliet for a final match was a good move on several levels. He gives Juliet the chance to redeem her honor in front of her peers (and mother), and he also justifies it to the Black Doggies by bringing up their own honor at stake . It's kind of amazing that she was even able to still stand and run for a bit after Somali hit her leg. I mean, on-top of her being super-strong, she also wears cleats .
