Tsk, I was hoping to make an avatar out of Jiraiya's Power-Rasengan, but in the end I concluded that it's impossible to make it under 50kb without severe butchering...

It looks really nice for your first try! One thing I'd like to point out: the background trasition between frame 6 and frame 7 seems a bit too choppy. Also, if possible, make the background 100 x 100 via some editing and throw in a border; I personally love full backgrounds and borders, but that's just me. ^_^

Could someone make me a gif from episode 71 where the 1st Hokage does that Forest jutsu that grows all the trees. If you could make it from the point where he does the hand seals until the trees grow, that would rock. Dont worry about file size/resolution, it doesnt matter.

I think someone did this already for an avatar, but since this is no-limit, I'll do it. But before that, my question is: how much of the tree-growth do you want in it? I don't like ambiguity...

Hmm, it isn't as "butchered" as I thought it would be. I see you decided to make it almost as one continous motion; I think you can smooth it out by tweaking the frame delays and it'll turn out great (it's still slightly above 50kb, by the way...curse that file size limit! )

The file size I'm seeing for that gif is like 48.9k or some thing. But in either case the maximum file size allowed is actually 51.2k (or close to that). Oh, you more than welcome to adjust the time frames of the gif to make look better because you was really the first one to put it up in the first place
