Gundam 00: A wakening of the Trailblazer - Expectations and Speculation

I would say its sub machine guns since they look too big to be GN pistols. They must be from those containers but this is looking very interesting and i cannot wait to get clear shots so we can get a better look.

Question: Is that a purple beam trying to hit the zabanaya or is that one of the gundams or tolemy given it support?

There will definitely be another trailer in May, together with the New Year event DVD, but I'd watch out for tomorrow & Sunday, because there will be a promo event at Tokyo Anime Fair 2010 with Mizushima, Meister VAs minus Tieria, and Katsuji Ryo (new guy's VA). It's possible they play a new trailer in the event.

Mizushima also showed this picture saying, "The newsflash is complete!" So, I guess there will be something interesting tomorrow huh (or is it Sunday?) Too bad I might not be able to camp out over the internet during the weekend.

is it true that the uverworld song with the gundam 00 movie image slide show is also coming out real soon?

perhaps it is connected to that?

Nobody calls Setsuna Soran. Nobody cares about their real names, nobody cares about the meaning behind it. We use these names to identify the characters not there real names.

btw, I didn't knew that Saji was part American. Where did you hear that?

I'm sorry but i do not agree with you, the name has meanings you know! it's not just out of the blue that the directors has choose setsuna as a codename or zabaniya as a gundam name, there's a meaning behind it (that's just my opinion)
anyway, forget about this thing let's focus on the picture showing zabaniya;
well it's not that clear to me, i can't really tell ...but there's definitely a beam ...i don't know if zabaniya was hit or not.

I'm not sure, but I think the current news is that there would be an announcement about the song in the event. Also, Mizushima said Sunday is the day the news flash will be shown on stage, not tomorrow.

Clearly, the pro-Aliens are leading this contention.

Those beams, at first glance, may seem to be plasma beams.

But:

1. Plasma beams should not have such intensity and power as per the picture.
2. Most of the mobile suits use GN energy, plasma beams have been effectively outlawed.
3. It's slightly of a different hue from plasma beams.
4. Plot, how the hell would plasma beams become a threat to Gundams?

Aliens, aliens. It all points to that now.

1. Sumeragi, she mentioned the dialogues, which was emphasized time and again to be with the aliens.
2. Tieria woke up from his "sleep". He said that he wouldn't unless the dialogues come. Even if the ESF attacked Celestial Being, that doesn't seem to be much reason for Tieria to awake, since this was supposed to be the case according to the Plan.
3. Jupiter was featured. Speaks for itself. Europa, the list goes on..
4. Mizushima lamented that he and his crew was going to do "something" unprecedented in Gundam.

Heck, I know I'm being irrational for not considering the points of contention brought up by anti-Aliens. Save your comments for yourself, ok?

yeah we know that the blue beam isn't from the feds mobile suits since we seen in the trailer b4 that the feds mobile suits are emitting orange GN particles and not blue ones.

You know when i first saw the beam i looked purple to me but now that u have mentioned it was blue

No. Just as there is no proof that aliens will appear in the movie, there is also no proof that they won't appear in the movie. Try not to prevent others from speculating upon that.

It's possible they're the same size and the positioning combined with the blurriness of the picture is making them look different then again it's also possible they equiped him with a mixture of pistols, SMGs, machine pistols, and PDWs and he is mix and matching them in use so that he is more effective.
With a picture that blurry though who could tell the people at Bandia are problably screwing with us again.

It would also make more sense there are certain situations where a pistol would best weapon others where a SMGs/PWDs would work better and given the kind of battles they Gundams get into you might need SMG in right hand and a pistol in the left.

You know that's a definet possibilty I hadn't even consider that might be the sniper rifle in a alternate fire mode. One thing this picture does confirm is that those aren't just weapons containers if you to the upper right you can see a bit not anything major I always assumed the suit would have them but it's still nice to have visual confirmation.

What I'm also wondering is why we're only getting stuff on Zabanya... It's not even the main mecha, we barely have images of Raphael or Harute, which is interesting.

I'm not really complaining though, I'm really loving Zabanya
